TBL 10×31 – Weigh In Night Gets A Big Fat Makeover
Previously on The Biggest Loser Families Australia 2015, um… Oh, yeah, MAKEOVER WEEK! They’re taking a “whole week” for makeovers this year as not only the remaining contestants but the eliminated ones as well are receiving makeovers.
Tuesday night we saw all of the remaining contestants, plus Mel’s makeover. We saw the start of Jodie’s makeover bit but we got interrupted before finding out if she said YES to the marriage proposal from her man.
Tonight, will she say yes? Will any of the eliminated contestants look as swish as Daniel and Tony looked?
Later, the weekly weigh in. The Jofale alliance is still in effect but it’s not really going to matter as it’s definitely going to be alliance members below the line. There’s nobody else to put under the line!
Interestingly the last two trainers are Michelle and Commando Steve. They’ve been together for a while at this point but it’s still not clear when Michelle gets the tiny scary fit baby inside her. I continue to keep an eye on her belly!
First, we’re back to makeovers. I forgot we saw Kayla as well. She looked pretty nice with bright red hair and a pretty green dress.
TBL 10×30 – You Get A Makeover! You Get A Makeover! Everybody Gets A Makeover!
Previously on The Biggest Loser poor Mel was sent home at elimination, primarily due to the all conquering Jofale alliance.
But more excitingly, Fiona announced it’s finally makeover time! The most visually interesting episode that translates the least well into a wordy recap.
This year we get makeovers of the eliminated contestants as well, which is a really nice change. Sometimes contestants would be wiped out just before makeover week when we all really, really wanted to see them get one.
Rob’s pretty happy with his look, time to check in with some of the others. Tony’s getting a lot of his hair trimmed and styled. Maybe a bit of colour in it? Still has the beard so far though.
Tony can feel the change in himself. He used to be a personal trainer as well, has a cabinet full of trophies for various sports. Mish is pleased to see that side of him coming back out.
TBL 10×29 – Will Mel Or Johnee Be Eliminated Tonight? Let’s Find Out!
Previously on The Biggest Loser we saw the inevitable happen as Johnee fell below the yellow line again. And unfortunately for Mel, she’s the other one under the line and she’s the last of those not part of the Jofale alliance.
Mel saved Daniel last week, Pablo’s kind of digging on Mel, Tenealle won’t vote out Johnee, what will the other Jofres do? Who knows!
Also tonight, Makeover Week starts. Everyone’s getting a makeover this year, it seems.
But first, the Jofres are discussing whether or not it’s time to break the alliance. Daniel’s particularly torn as he was sure he’d be going home last week, but Mel saved him. Daniel doesn’t want to think about it but Tony’s adamant they’ve got to think about their place in the game, getting all four of them to the finale.
TBL 10×28 – Weigh In Night! Who Hasn’t Lost Enough Chub?
Previously on The Biggest Loser Cliff was sent home in a shock elimination after Tony won at Temptation.
The weekly challenge saw contestants struggling to build rafts capable of travelling a couple hundred metres on a calm lake. New host Fiona did this same challenge in her time on the show, taking first place alongside… that guy. Whatsisname. Yeah.
Tonight the paddling of the rafts continues. Daniel’s rapidly catching up to Tony, with Tenealle bringing up the rear. Nobody else has even made it to the water yet. I’m not sure Mel will even finish a raft before someone makes it back again.
Daniel’s raft looked very rickety on dry land but it’s a beast out on the water, taking Daniel past Tony with ease. Rob keeps telling us how amazed he was that Daniel’s raft held together. Not much faith in his nephew!
TBL 10×27 – Row Row Row Your Boat, Push Cliff Down The Stream
Previously on The Biggest Loser there was a major upset in the elimination room as Mel inexplicably chose to send Moses home over Daniel. Nobody is quite sure why, but it is generally agreed this was one of the weirdest decisions ever.
Johnee was later hospitalised with stress related heart troubles, meaning he’s missed out on the week’s Temptation. The power on offer this week is a doozy as the winner will get to send another contestant home. Eliminated on the spot, not a holiday this time.
First up we’ve got to find out whether Cliff or Tony can get to the golden fork first. Will they both reach for it or will Tony refuse to play?
Tony has the greatest advantage in the game, since he gets to go last. He could win by eating just one meal.
The final meal is an ice cream sundae. Worth 743 calories! Tony was hoping for a parmagiana.
Wrists on the edge of the table, good luck!
