My reason(s) for applying for Biggest Loser are:
I’m tired of selling myself short. The main excuse I have for not reaching my goals and being the person I can be is because of my weight. And I’m appalled at myself for being in this situation.

I first realized I was overweight and needed help when:
After a visit to the doctor, I was labelled obese not just overweight- it has gotten so bad it’s now a medical condition (that label hurts more than any insult I have ever received.)

I hope to lose weight but gain:
Self respect and a healthy mental image. I cop out all the time and take the easy choice and hate myself for doing that!

The previous contestant I have found inspiring was (and why?)
Damien; he never let his size be an excuse.

The best part of being on Biggest Loser is:
A chance to prove to myself and others that I can and will do what it takes to better myself and my situation. At the moment, I feel like I’m on a runaway train that is taking the wrong route with no stops – now I will learn how to take control of that train and it will be stopping at self respect, motivation, better health and the last stop will be happiness!

I am preparing myself for this journey by:
Getting into a frame of mind that will allow me to be invulnerable. I have to put everything out there and be OK with it, all my fears and tears.

I think the most difficult part of being on Biggest Loser will be:
The physical and mental strain

My biggest weakness is:
Fear of failure- I’m so afraid of failure that it gets to a point that it’s easier to not try and not set goals.

Some bad habits I would like to get rid of are:
My horrible eating habits; never eat breakfast and am too quick to criticise.

The one thing I want Australia to know about me is that:
I have big heart and I want them to know I will try and won’t give up.

I think I will win the Biggest Loser because:

I’m determined; I’m not here to muck around and I’m a friendly person with a big heart.

One thing I have never done because I was overweight and will do once I lose the weight will be to:
Go for a run with my brother.
