James Moore

Name:James Moore
Age: 22
Height: 189cm
Lives: Adelaide
Status: Single
Children: No
Occupation: Works at a service station. Budding musician
Quote: “I want what everyone wants, to find love.”

James would like to reach his goal weight of 70 kilograms, he doesn’t want to end up like his father who died from being overweight. He wants to stop doubting himself and gain confidence. His greatest fear is dying alone.

James has lived a tough life, having both his parents pass away when he was a child. His mother died from cancer when he was six and his father had weight related issues and died from heart failure when he was 13-years-old. James hasn’t dealt with the death of parents yet so he uses humour as a defence mechanism and considers himself to be a bit of a joker.

James would love to pursue his passion for music, he plays the piano beautifully and he enjoys playing the guitar and singing.

My reason for applying for The Biggest Loser:
To make sure I have a happy and healthy future.
I first realised I was overweight and need help when:
I couldn’t do up my jeans for the first time.
I hope to lose weight but gain:
Confidence.
A past contestant I’ve found inspiring is:
Bob! The oldest ever winner – very cool.
The best part of being on The Biggest Loser is:
Getting my life back.
I am preparing myself for this journey by:
Accepting what I can’t control.
I think the most difficult part of being on The Biggest Loser will be:
The challenges!
My biggest weakness is:
Getting in my own way.
Some bad habits I would like to get rid of are:
Doubting myself.
The one thing I want Australia to know about me is:
I’m a good guy!
I think I will win The Biggest Loser because:
I want it enough.
One thing I have never done because I was overweight I will do once I lose the weight is:
Bungee jump.
