‘Loud’, ‘outspoken’, ‘jetsetter – just three of the adjectives that apply to the eldest Duncan sibling. Sarah-Jayne has been overweight her whole life, finds it affects her work – standing all day goes with the territory of being a hairdresser – and is looking forward to feeling comfortable in her own skin.

Sarah-Jayne counts drinking and smoking among her most damaging vices, and knows that going cold turkey to combat the latter while in the house will be among her biggest challenges.

A healthy mind, body and lungs will be essential for her though if in 2011 she wants to realise her dream of being able to hike when she visits Cambodia.
