Previously on The Biggest Loser the trainers weighed in after their week of family-induced excess. With Commando Steve promising death to his team.

Certainly one way to get the weight off them!

There was also The Contest, with one team winning “power over the game” which has something to do with the trainers…

Tonight! We find out who wins, what it means for everyone and then we have drama! With Sharlene apparently walking out after a family feud, seemingly something to do with Lara.

Also, the first Challenge of the year kicks off. Each team will have to train a pull. I mean pull a train! But, spoilers, we won’t find out who wins tonight…

As the episode picks up we’re watching Jarrod and Jodie in the final stretch of The Contest. Jodie’s got 1km to go so she picks up the pace a bit.

Previously on The Biggest Loser we were introduced to all the new contestants and the one brand new trainer and the trainer who scored himself a full time job, Commando Steve!

Tonight it’s time for the very first weigh-in of the season. This year has an extra twist with each of the families weighing in while the rest of their family and close friends watch. Yikes!

Time for some recapped footage! Boring.

First up The Moon Family walk up a beach through a double line of friends and family.
The Duncans walk into a room at a pub, seemingly?
The Westrens are in someone’s backyard with everyone clapping and cheering.
The Challenors have to climb a set of stairs to get to their people. Poor Damien’s obviously struggling with that.

And we’re back!

And we’re already into the recap footage before the show has even started!

Mr Voiceover tells us it’s a family year this time around. Sisters, brothers, fathers, nephews, etc. Four families, four trainers. Including Tiffiny SCREAMING as she snaps some boards!

Family ties will be stretched to the limit. Lots of dramatic walkoffs in the future, lots of people screaming at each other and at their trainers. One even declares she hates Trainer Tiffiny.

The 2011 challenges will be supersized, there’s an arena competition each week of some kind. The trainers will be spending a week with their families, as you’ve seen from the ads, but they’ll also be weighing in for the first time. Presumably prior to their week away and then again afterwards!

And… there’s a new theme song? “We Are Family”? Bring back Shannon Nollllllllll!

Finally all the preliminaries are out of the way and we get into the meat of the show.

… and now, The Biggest Loser Finale. WOOOOOOO!!!

Lisa, Wayne, Joe and Shannon are the Final Four competing for the big prize. The other contestants will also be competing for a minor prize.
Except for Chris, who accepted a payout.
And except for that guy who’s up on charges of possessing nudie pics of minors.

But otherwise they’ll be trying to win money. Yeah!
