TBL 10×38 – Penultimate Weigh In, Elimination, Elimination, Juice!

Previously on The Biggest Loser Familes we saw Tony win another challenge, gaining “Ultimate Immunity”, a pass straight to the finale tomorrow night. We also saw Sam grab a payout of $20,000 to leave the game early, as she felt she would not be able to win regardless.

Tonight, the very last weigh in at Camp Biggest Loser for the year. This one looks to be a bit different, with a red line in play as well. Possibly signifying an instant elimination for the person who has lost the least weight in the week? Two other people will be below the yellow line and two others will be safe above the line. Or, probably, Tony and one other will be safe.

Things do not look good for the last remaining contestant not of the Jofre family. Can Tenealle lose enough weight to secure her safety one last time, or is this the end of the road for the Auvale team?

This is it, people. Time to weigh in. Right after Fiona throws one last curve ball. The person who records the lowest weightloss percentage tonight will fall below the red line and will be immediately eliminated from the competition. The next two lowest will be below the yellow line and will face a vote. Only two votes, only really matters if Tenealle is above the line, huh?

Tony’s got ultimate immunity and will weigh in first. He’s got his spot in the finale… unless he puts on weight. Ooooh. Will he put weight on again?

Tony Previous: 92.4kg
Tony Now: 89.5kg
Tony Loss: 2.9kg
Tony Percentage: 3.14%

That’s up there, might be biggest loser of the week and not have needed that immunity. Tony was worried for a second, but he’s worked damn hard to get to finale, so he deserves it, Mish says.

Next up, Pablo. He’s a bit nervous! Making finale is the ultimate, it means he’s accomplished something.

Pablo Previous: 115.5kg
Pablo Now: 111.3kg
Pablo Loss: 4.2kg
Pablo Percentage: 3.64%

Well, look at that, Pablo’s atop the leaderboard. And he’s gotten a bit teary, awww! He’s happy with his number but he knows there’s not room for four Jofres at finale. Mish congratulates him, it’s a great result for the week. Mish says she saw Pablo in a new light at the last Last Chance Training, he can be a leader. Daniel tells us he’s changed a lot in the journey, he’s a lot more confident now.

Tenealle will need at least 3.9kg to beat Pablo, which is a really tall order. She knows it’s a big number, but she’s aiming for the stars! She thinks if any week is going to be a big one for her, it’ll be this one.

Tenealle Previous: 105.5kg
Tenealle Now: 102.9kg
Tenealle Loss: 2.6kg
Tenealle Percentage: 2.46%

Tenealle’s going home. She says the Jofres are hard to beat, but she wanted to give it her all. Fiona asks her what it would mean to her to get into finale and she says she knows it’s not going to happen now, the Jofres won’t vote each other out, but it would have been great to have an Auvale in the finale.

Steve’s still proud of her, she did her best. 3.9kg off 99kg, Steve points out. She can get that done in another week or so.

The Jofres all congratulate her on her loss, fist bumps all round!

Rob’s turn. He wants to do it for his partner and daughter, get to finale and win, etc.

Rob Previous: 112.3kg
Rob Now: 108kg
Rob Loss: 4.3kg
Rob Percentage: 3.83%

He’s now over 50kg. Tiff says he’s lost a whole Tiffiny! Rob says that’s pretty crazy. Fiona says he’s only 8kg away from getting married but Rob corrects her, saying it’s 9 to go! But he wouldn’t be embarassed to be seen next to his partner anymore.

Rob’s great result means Pablo is now below the yellow line.

Daniel’s the last to weigh in. He needs at least 3.7kg to beat Rob, which is doable. Daniel’s lost good numbers all season. Can he push Tenealle straight into the elimination zone?

Daniel Previous: 94.2kg
Daniel Now: 90.2kg
Daniel Loss: 4kg
Daniel Percentage: 4.25%

Well, there you go. Biggest Loser of the week yet again. He doesn’t look too happy about it, he didn’t want to push anyone below the line. He was hoping to be under the line and go home himself. He’s feeling a bit conflicted as he’s now got to vote to send one of his family home. Big number be damned!

Daniel’s in tears on the scales, even though he’s through to the finale. But he’s a six time biggest loser of the week. Pretty sure that’s a record? Must be a record.

Tenealle, you’re out! Below the red line means you go home. Tenealle knew she’d be going home if she wasn’t the biggest loser. She’s kind of glad she doesn’t have to face elimination, the Jofres can fight it out amongst themselves.

So what now? Go home and make babies, Tenealle says excitedly. Steve says she’s gotten out of the experience what she needed to. Tenealle tells us her time on the show has been tough but she wouldn’t change it for the world. She’s a different person now, much stronger and more focused. She’s even excited to train now!

The biggest highlight for her was getting to do the show with her husband Johnee. Now they can do it together on the outside, and she’s so much closer to being a Mum. Mum Mum Mum!

On the way out of the weigh in room Tenealle says “See ya next season” to the trainers. We’ll see!

The Jofres have officially made it to the final four! Except they won’t all get to go on to the finale together. Daniel and Tony are guaranteed a spot and must now vote on who’ll join them at finale. Probably their brother? Well, they have to go and decide on their own and Fiona will see them in the elimination room.

But first, Tenealle four weeks later! Her and Johnee are training together a lot more and preparing food together and they’ve made the changes so easily, apparently. She’s lost 4kg since leaving the house, meaning she’s under 100kg, which was her dream.

Seeing her audition tape is quite a shock. She was in denial about how heavy she was. She’s happier and healthier now. She was a 24-26 dress size and is now down to 14-16. She’s a shorty, so that helps!

But now, the elimination room. Not fun, not fun at all. Even at the best of times when you’re just eliminating another person. Going to be super tough.

Kisses all round before the vote. Awww!

Last elimination. Fiona’s got a white top on. Bit boring, Fi!

Pablo was the lowest weightloss percentage. So receiving even one vote will doom him. Poor Pabs!

Pablo says he’d love to finally achieve something and would love to be competing against his brothers. But Rob deserves to be there too. Rob couldn’t even run 10 metres at the start, but look at him now. He very much deserves it.

Rob says they’re a close family, but living with them in close quarters has brought them closer. Pablo’s changed, not just physically, but mentally. He’s going to do great things. Rob says it would be an honour to be on the stage as the biggest loser. It was a goal from early on to have all four of them at finale, but that’s not to be. So if that can’t happen, he’d love to see the three brothers on stage battling it out. He’s run his race, he’s achieved his goal, the old Rob is gone for good. He’s ready to go home. And it’d be just as big an honour for him to see one of his nephews on stage as the biggest loser of the year.

Fiona points out that they’ve never had an elimination like this. But it’s time to vote. If either of them pick Pablo, he’s gone. Will they honour Rob’s wish?

Daniel says he knows Pablo wants to be there for finale and Pablo needs it, to prove to himself that he deserves it. In a way it’s a gift for Daniel to send his “godfather/hero” home to see his family. Awwww!

Tony says Rob’s the rock of the family, he’s been an inspiration to him and the family. But this is also a gift from him, Rob gets to go home to his daughter. Rob, Tony’s champ, will go home.

Tony says the brothers have competed since they were kids, so bring it on. Right to the finish.

Rob says this has been the most exciting experience of his life. He’s come a long way since that first day at training. He believes he can do it now. And he used to be very concerned for his nephews, he wasn’t a good role model. But he’s not concerned anymore. They’re living life and are going to see this through to the end.

So that’s that, the brothers-Jofre are our finalists this year. Well done to all three!

The boys are all dressed up fancy and have a fancy lunch out in the yard. No, breakfast. They’ve come a long way since what they were eating on the first day. Eating awful food, smoking and drinking. Tony’s hoping to live a better life going forward.

Michelle’s there too, all dolled up as well. She’s not surprised to see Rob missing, though she’s still a little sad. She’s very proud of her Jofre boys though. They were the last team standing in the end. Daniel tells her that what she’s taught them has gotten them that far and Mish says they also taught her what’s possible with a really committed team who has each others backs. They toast their success, with fruit juice. A first for the boys in quite a while!

Time to leave the house. Awww! Daniel’s a bit emotional about it. The owners are probably happy they can start the cleanup.

At the Jofre family home Rob’s there to wait for the boys to come home. Everyone’s amazed to see how much weight Rob’s lost and there’s a bunch of family there, but the boys all run straight to their Mum. Awww! Lots of hugs and kisses for everyone.

One of the older ladies speaks a bunch of… Spanish? What do Argentinians speak? I probably should know this. Anyway, she’s proud of the boys, Daniel translates for us.

Katalina, the Mum, says she was very worried about Pablo, who had basically shut himself off from the world. Simona, a family friend, was amazed by Tony’s transformation, says she barely recognised him.

The boys then reveal it’s those three as the final three, but Tony’s going to win he says. Daniel thinks he’s going to win. Pablo wants to win as well. So they’re all going to be competing really hard!

Four weeks later and Rob… well, looks the same as when he left. But he looked pretty dang fit when he left. He’s working out hard, getting much fitter. He’s even doing pushups on medicine balls, which he couldn’t do before. And now he can jump on the TRAMAMPOLINE with his daughter. Yay!

Before coming on the show his diet was atrocious. He says he didn’t have a sweet tooth he had a sweet mouth. Hah! Hasn’t had sweets in four months. They’re all eating much healthier now, even Amelia. She does what Mum and Dad do, after all.

Rob was back five days before Sophie was born, his newest daughter. Awww! He tells Sophie she’s putting on the weight while he’s losing it. His lady is very pleased with the changes, he’s much happier and sexier to boot. She tells him she has to keep pinching herself because she can barely believe how good he looks now.

Rob’s astonished by his initial weigh in video. He realises now how badly he needed to get this done. He was a size 50 in pants and a 7XL in shirts, down to 38 and just a L in shirts.

If it wasn’t for the show he’d be the same weight, unhappy and making excuses. And now he can finally get married!

Tomorrow night, FINALE! All the contestants are back to weigh in one more time. Who will be the biggest losing family? Who will win the individual prize?

Come on, get your guesses in. Will Tony, Daniel or Pablo be Biggest Loser 2015?
