The Biggest Loser Australia has again run into trouble in the early stages of the season with an “incident” involving two contestants that has since been referred to the authorities.

Neither news.com.au, New Idea nor Channel Ten is explaining any further but if the authorities are investigating an “inappropriate relationship” it sounds like one or both involved may be underage?

Regardless of the cause it resulted in two of the families being removed from the show very late in the process, potentially after filming had already started?

This would certainly explain some of the shenanigans around not having a couple eliminated the first week and instead introducing two new couples after the weigh in. Anita and Cher, Rosemary and Kevin may have been reserve contestants who were then pulled in to even the number of teams back out.

And the producers think they need to manufacture drama for the show!
