TBL 7×46 – Michelle is sexy and she knows it. WIGGLE WIGGLE WIGGLE, YEAH!
Previously on Biggest Loser… makeover makeover makeover makeovermakeovermakeover. MAKEOVER ALL THE FATTIES.
That’s really all we’ve seen a couple nights in a row now but it concludes tonight with Michelle’s makeover reveal. Plus a surprise!
Which is probably just Hamish so they can get more footage of awkward pashing…
Also tonight the contestants feel like dancing, gonna dance the night away! Graham’s going to get attention from allll the ladies in the club.
I’ve no idea why. I just don’t get it.
After the night of dancing there’s some kind of raft building challenge that looks like a bunch of fun. They always are fun to watch and they always bring lots of drama!
As the show starts Michelle is being introduced again by Tiffiny.
Then Michelle steps out on the catwalk and… WOW. She’s wearing a skinny red dress with a skinny black belt around the waist and high black heels and she looks STUNNING. She looks ready for the Finale already!
Michelle recalls being overweight and her friends were getting married and she hadn’t even had a boyfriend.
But that all changed when she met Hamish, Tiff says! Michelle tries to hide behind her hair but she can’t anymore, that’s why they chopped it off, Tiff said.
Michelle says she has a lot more confidence now. Even just talking to Hamish took a lot of confidence which is a huge change for her.
Her family is what gets her up each morning and she’s missed them like crazy. Her Dad’s always wanted her to be happy. And she’s fulfilling that wish now.
Then Michelle’s Dad and… brother? And sister? Come out on the catwalk and there’s a big group hug. The brother is in tears and… the sister?… is also in tears. I don’t know. Maybe it’s her Mum? Mum?
Yes, Mum. And her Mum and Dad say she looks happy and beautiful tonight. Her Dad has Parkinsons, was diagnosed a few years back. Poor fella.
Michelle, you’re looking hot and feeling hot. Will you sing for us again?
SIGH.
Not as bad as Amanda’s singing at least.
Michelle says this is the best day at Camp so far, realising how far they’ve all come. Everyone comes out on the catwalk again for a big group presentation of them all.
Mish says they make a pretty fetching group and it is a Saturday night… You guys want to go out on the town? Yeah!
Then the stretch Hummer pulls into the studio they’re in. Looks just like the one they had on Excess Baggage. What a coincedence!
Everyone’s having fun dancing in whatever club they’ve gone to. Michelle says this is the one time she hasn’t felt too self conscious. She feels like she actually fits in.
Graham gets to dancing and some pecks on the cheeks and lips with some of the ladies of the club. Take advantage of that 15 minutes of fame, Graham!
Everyone gets back to Camp very late in the night and trudges off to get showered and into bed…
Next morning they’re all in their training gear, makeup off and all that jazz. And back to training.
Did they have fun? Yeah!
Tiff asks Graham if he had fun and then does the OOOOOOOOOOH fake kissing with her fingers again and Mish laughs her arse off again. Steve just gives him a wink.
Graham’s feeling fantastic as a result.
Mish says it’s a big milestone, getting to Makeover Day. It’s something all the contestants want to get to.
Lydia says that some people have had a hard time getting back into it. Michelle says she’s been feeling like shit. After seeing her family and then having to go away again. She’s still homesick. She doesn’t want to cry!
Tiff says her family are very proud of her and she’s there to get healthy for them. Michelle says it’s a bit hard to get back into the swing of things.
Michelle feels a little disappointed in herself. She’s proud of her achievements but she’s still really upset. What’s she so upset about? Tiff takes her outside for a sit down and chat and Michelle can’t squeak anything out in between crying.
Michelle reveals she hasn’t been following the diet at all. She binged yesterday and has been doing so occasionally at other times. Fruit she shouldn’t be having, crackers, some smoked salmon. Nothing too bad for her but more food than she should be eating.
She misses her family and then she started eating like she used to. Tiff says she needs to look at it like she’s had a setback but that doesn’t set her back to square one.
Tiff says before Michelle was on the show she’d binge on cake and would never get full, could just keep eating because the emotional hunger was never satisfied.
Camp’s the best place for her. She might be binging but it’s all on stuff that won’t hurt her too much. Tiff tells her to just switch the brain off and work out. Once she starts working out it’ll change the body’s chemistry and she’ll start feeling better. Michelle knows she always used to quit but now her attitude has changed and she doesn’t want to quit anymore.
Tiff and Michelle get back into the gym and Steve asks if she’s okay and Michelle nods and gets back on a treadmill. Tiff is very impressed that Michelle got back in there and got back to training. That’s a fighter, she says. She had a bit of a low but those lows will help push her forward.
While they’re off training like mad Shannan’s on a super secret mission with his contestants. They’re sneaking into Camp to get a leg up on the competition, Shannan says. Selena’s loving it, all the sneaky evilness of it all.
Ryan says he’d seen the signs saying “No Authorised Persons Allowed”. Idiot.
Anyway, he didn’t know the tunnels existed but Shannan’s leading them through the tunnels and off to… The Bunker.
Big monitors, computers set up, they’re all shocked.
Shannan says what they don’t know is that the trainers have been in there since very early on keeping an eye on them all throughout the competition.
Bek’s panicking and wondering what she might have said at various times!
They’ve seen everything, Shannan exclaims. Simon and Lisa? The trainers probably knew about that relationship before anyone else did!
Yes, Ryan, Shannan knows about the extra packets of ham.
Shannan says they’re in The Bunker so they can size up the competition and fight their way back into Camp.
The contestants are in the gym now. Not a big reveal for Lisa who only just got sent home but some of the others are in for a huge surprise. Bek is amazed at how tiny Michelle’s gotten.
Bek is astounded by Kasey as well. Alex is fired up. Steve’s getting fired up at everyone, yelling at them to ask if they’re going to win and so on.
Hamish says Michelle looks smoking hot and that’s all the motivation he needs to get back inside Camp.
Giggity!
Brenda says she’s a bit fired up after seeing them but also a bit nervous. But still, bring it. Simon says much the same. Shane loved it, knows how hard he has to go now.
Anyone threatened? Nup. They’re ready to go head to head with them. No problem. Let’s go train!
Back to the Manly Fight Gym. Where they’ll be training with a WORLD CHAMPION.
Bek’s immediately impressed as the guy is in the boxing ring with a skipping rope and he’s quite talented with it. Bek said she did a bit of skipping when she was young but he’s looking pretty good!
This is Billy “The Kid” Dib? Probably spelled wrong. Don’t care. He’s a boxer, one of the two champs Australia has right now.
Billy says he was doing well in his fights but then lost one and everyone was suddenly writing him off. He knew at that point he could either retire or get really serious about his boxing. And he knew he wouldn’t be able to live with himself if he didn’t come back and give it 100% and he went on to do that in his next 10 fights straight.
It doesn’t matter what people say, he’s in the history books now and nobody can take that away from him. And they’ve got that second chance to get back into the house now and go all the way.
Time to get warmed up and show Billy what they’ve got.
Billy’s actually going to get in their heads and try and inspire them as well.
Bek’s having a great time getting boxing pointers from Billy. Giggling a bit. He’s trying to teach her how to block punches properly though she’s failing a bit at first and her glove keeps going backwards into her face. He manages to correct her form and she starts learning how to do it properly and she says it’s great to be trained by him. He’s a really nice guy but he keeps it real and you forget you’re training with a world champ, she says.
They’re having a great time, lots of laughs but no flirting, Bek promises. Because he’s so tiny!
Hamish was too scared to get into the boxing ring at the start of the show but today he’s really eager to get the gloves on and get into the ring with Billy.
Shannan’s in there too, asking him if he’s missed Michelle and if that’s a big motivation for him to get back in and yeah, of course it is!
Shannan tells us that love is a powerful emotion but now he’s also seen how good a motivator it can be. Hamish is very fired up inside the ring and Shannan is impressed by the punches he’s throwing into Billy’s mitts.
Shannan says the contestants need to act, think and believe they’re champions to fight their way back into Camp.
Time for the weekly challenge for the contestants still in the house. Today’s challenge is a cracker, Hayley says. A race… with a twist!
They’ll need their brain to design a raft, their strength to build it and their endurance to paddle it 500m to the finish line. They’ll be working in pairs today, too.
They have a pile of building materials under a tarp to build their raft from. Once they’re happy with their raft they can launch it into the water, paddle it down 250m and under a bridge, round a buoy and back. Then carry the raft out of the water and across the finish line.
Nobody knows how to build a raft. Except Lydia. Uhoh! She used to be a brownie, too. Ha!
Graham’s built a few things in his time but never a raft before.
Teams will be selected… by random draw. Uhoh!
Margie, Biggest Loser of the Week, gets to pick a rope first to work out how she’s partnered with. She pulls a rope from Hayley’s fist and it’s Graham. “Yayyyy!”
Margie says she’s pleased to be paired with him, really, as he has a good work ethic and he’s strong. But she is worried that as two of the heaviest contestants their raft is going to have to be sturdy and harder to paddle as a result.
Lydia picks a rope next and… gets Kasey! Kasey’s stoked because she thinks Lydia knows what she’s doing. We’ll see!
That leaves Michelle and Alex together. She’s okay with that because she thinks they’ll work well together but worried because neither of them has built anything like it before.
The winning team will get a 1kg weight advantage, each.
And the losing team? Bedroom lockdown until weigh in. And the only workout equipment they’ll have is a spinbike. To share.
Yikes!
Time to unveil all the raft building crap!
Wow, that’s a lot of crap to choose from! Tire innertubes, small barrels, pontoons, bits of wood, plastic gratings, flags, some old doors.
Begin the mad grabbing dash!
Lydia and Kasey are trying to build their raft as quickly as possible from as few pieces as possible so they can start paddling as soon as possible. They’ve picked four 100 litre drums with a plastic crate thing and some rope to tie them together. Not sure it’s going to be large enough for the two of them although the bouyancy should be adequate.
Michelle and Alex have some tires and doors and rope to tie them together. Alex only knows one knot, the one he uses to tie up roasts at work!
They seem to be doing okay with those though Michelle can’t do any decent knots. She’s apologising him to a lot and he’s doing a lot of the work.
Graham and Margie’s raft looks the most sturdy as Graham’s doing most of the building. They’ve got six tire tubes underneath a door and some planks of wood, tying them all together. Margie’s trying to rush Graham but he’s not being rushed, he’s making sure it’s safe and waterworthy and not just going to fall apart on them. Probably a wise choice, given their respective weights.
Then Hayley announces they’ve got to have a mast on their raft. Don’t know why?
Kasey and Lydia are first into the water but are struggling to get comfortable on their tiny raft. Alex and Michelle get off second thought their construction looks a bit shoddy.
Margie’s getting very worried as they’re still back on shore building but their construction is so solid Graham can easily drag it across the grass without it falling apart. Their raft is quite large but they get into the water without any dramas and head off chasing down Michelle and Alex.
Margie loves kayaking so she’s paddling strongly while on her knees. Graham’s lying down on his side and paddling as best he can.
Meanwhile Kasey and Lydia have run aground! So they’re stuck while they try to get back out into the deeper water. Guess they should’ve built a better raft!
Neither of them wants to lose but it’s left to Kasey to get off the raft and tug them out further into the river.
Meanwhile Alex and Michelle are gaining ground! Alex is urging Michelle on, saying he’s never won anything in his life!
From the raft it looks like they’re making good progress but a camera shot from the banks shows how slow they’re actually moving.
But they’re both from Glenroy in Victoria so they’re DOING IT FOR VICTORIA!
Michelle and Alex pull level with Lydia and Kasey and as they’re further out into the river they cruise past easily.
And then Graham and Margie are powering along the river and go past Lydia and Kasey as well.
See, Graham knew what he was doing, Margie!
Margie says she felt a little bad going past Lydia but nobody wants to come last.
And now it’s time for them to hunt down Alex and Michelle.
Alex and Michelle are rowing and rowing and then they’re not going anywhere. Their mast has gotten snagged on a cable strung across the river. Not sure if that was placed there just to provide an obstacle but it does seem a little convenient!
Seems it’s part of the bridge, we see after the ad break that interrupted the race.
Hayley’s on the bridge and finally tells them they need to take their mast down to go under the bridge and around the buoy then raise it again afterwards. This is all giving Margie and Graham extra time to catch up.
Margie’s looking very determined, Michelle says, as they go past on their way back up the river as Margie and Graham head for the buoy themselves. It’s looking like Michelle and Alex are going to hold their lead but…
Kasey and Lydia are having a very hard time. Their raft is tilting alarmingly, Kasey keeps whacking Lydia with her oar while paddling. They’re having a bit of a giggle at it all though. They’re not stopping rowing!
They manage to get down to the buoy as Margie and Graham are coming back up the river.
Margie’s got the experience on the water but Michelle and Alex are a long way ahead and end up getting in sight of the finish line while Margie and Graham are still way down the river…
Michelle and Alex then get to the boat ramp, toss their oars up onto the shore and drag their raft up and over the finish line. They’re both ECSTATIC. Both at managing to win a challenge and getting the precious 1kg weight advantage.
Margie and Graham come in second and their raft is still completely intact. Looks like they could go up and down the river a dozen more times.
They’re both happy to have finished and not come last.
Back in the river… Lydia and Kasey’s raft is sinking. Some of the barrels have been filling up with water as the race wore on so the raft now weighs a lot more than when it started.
The other contestants are all waiting at the finish line and Michelle asks if they’re allowed to give them a hand and of course they can at that point so they all head down the ramp and help lug the raft up onto the grass.
Alex and Michelle are now officially the winners of the challenge. Hooray!
Kasey and Lydia are now penalised with a bedroom lockdown. Only one spinbike to work out on between them. No Last Chance Training, no gym access. Lydia’s very worried!
Sunday night at 6.30… Kasey and Lydia are in lockdown and the remaining contestants get some quality time training with someone who trains the olympic tae kwon do team.
Tiffiny’s Dad! N’awww!
Then there’s a lot of shocks come weigh in, it seems.
Tomorrow night on The Biggest Loser Thursday? Extra behind the scenes stuff from Makeover Day and Shane gets his makeover with Sammy.
That sounds like a Friday episode. What’s happening on Friday that we don’t get an episode?
Who cares! I get my Friday night back! \o/
