TBL 7×28 – Weigh-In and Elimination night. Drama and drama in potentia!
Previously on The Biggest Loser BEK WAS SEXY.
Wait, that was Friday. Anyway, Red and Black have a super duper double secret deal that totally isn’t an alliance. Simon took Temptation to snatch Immunity away from Hamish but will Red actually protect him at Weigh-In?
Probably not. Not after the weekly challenge saw everyone at each other’s throats but particularly Red and Black.
Graham won the right to choose a team to go without a trainer until Weigh-In.
Tonight! We find out he’s chosen Hamish. Come on, we all know that’s where it’s going.
Also the White Team return from the wilderness covered in mud and looking more than a bit feral. But Hamish doesn’t care, he’s going to hug smelly Michelle and think she’s beautiful because that’s what you do when you’re in love. Awww!
Also, Weigh-In, drama over the not-an-alliance, presumably two teams below the Yellow Line, etc etc.
Simon says Red will train fine without Mish being there while Hamish will struggle so it’s up to you.
Graham then says to Hayley that Red train really well without their trainer, ever since they’ve been there. So he’s choosing Hamish.
You ass.
Hamish says he’s just got to respect their decision but to us he says he feels a bit betrayed because he’d helped Black win the challenge.
Hamish thinks it will just spur him on to work even harder. Here’s hoping!
Now it’s time for everyone to make their video call home.
Graham’s chatting to his Mum and other people I can’t make out. Lots of “I love you!” and stuff.
Margie’s got a bunch of ladies cheering for her.
Hamish has… family? Alex’s sister and kids. She says good on him when he reveals he’s lost 30kg so far.
Lydia’s got her mum and dad and… some random fat kid. Hell if I know who it is.
Simon’s family is there on the call.
Yeah, they rushed right through that.
White’s still in the bush slogging away through the mud and dust. Tiff’s hoping they return strong, powerful and resilient. They’ve got quite a nice obstacle course thing setup to work out on today. Looks quite old, rotten tree trunks marking off paths and stuff. Still, beats a muddy river!
Tiff knows Michelle wants to fight hard to stay in the game for another week so she can have another week with Hamish. And Tiff’s got a surprise related to that very thing.
Been missing Hamish? Think he’s been missing you? Would you like to see if he’s been missing you?
Noooooooo. This is so very, very wrong. Wrong wrong wrong. Creepy.
Anyway, it’s the bit where Shannan asked Hamish what he’d say to Michelle when she got back. How does it make you feel, Michelle? Special. And she’s never felt special before. And Hamish makes her feel special, Tiff asks? Yes. Awwww!
Back to training!
Hamish is training for his Last Chance Training stuff as Shannan turns up. But of course Shannan can’t stick around, as Hamish explains.
Shannan’s getting a bit stroppy. Says it makes sense. Hamish is a big threat, Shannan says. And he tells us it confirms that there’s an alliance between Red and Black, as he’d been suspecting earlier in the week while in The Bunker.
Hamish says he can’t trust anyone. Except Shannan. They’re the Blue Team.
Hamish has done a lot of good training this week and Shannan is proud of him. Tells him to stand on the scales with his head held high. And tell Michelle he’s the type of guy he thinks she should have in her life.
As Shannan leaves Hamish is letting the anger go into his training and cycling like a man possessed.
But he breaks down at one point and sobs that he just wants Shannan there. But he knows that Shannan would want him to pick himself up and get on with the training.
So that’s what he does. Hooray!
He’s shouting motivation at himself as he hits the heavy bag and then moves on to the rowing machine. Good to see him working hard!
Now Red are having a sit down discussion about Margie’s power from The Walk, where she gets to have one member of a team not have their weight count for their team.
Margie had made a deal with Simon that the Red Team wouldn’t shaft Black and Black wouldn’t shaft them. And Lydia says they want to be known as women of their word and they should stick to the agreement with Simon.
But Margie thinks that Simon’s one of the bigget game players at Camp and ultimately who can they trust in Camp? Themselves. Nobody else.
Margie’s thinking maybe she should use it in a different way, some way to best advantage themselves. Can’t believe they weren’t restricted from putting it on their own team. Helloooo waterloading and sitting them out!
Time for the weigh-in. Hamish is nervous since he’s had a bit of a shitty week.
Tiff and the other trainers are there. Tiff’s team isn’t, yet. But they’re about to be. Welcome back, White Team!
White looks a mess. Selena’s obviously given up entirely on keeping her hair in check and it’s now a giant mane-like afro kind of thing.
Hamish says the White girls look rough but Michelle still looks perfect. Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!
They give each other a big squishy hug and then get into their assigned spots. Awwww!
Time for Red’s decision. And as previously discussed they’re sitting Simon out of the weigh-in.
Hamish throws a look Shannan’s way…
Margie says that as they’re women of their word they’re sticking with the agreement they made at the Contest.
Shannan pipes up and asks Margie, as a woman of her word, there’s no agreement or alliance between them and the Black Team? No, there’s not, Margie says.
Shannan reiterates that he’s asking her as a woman of her word. Hayley asks if there’s an alliance in his mind? Yep. If it looks like a duck and quacks it’s usually a duck!
Shannan is clearly unimpressed by Margie’s blatant lying. And I suspect he might have a little word in Hamish’s ear about not trusting them under any circumstance in the future. Because they’re lying liars!
Anyway. Simon’s up to be weighed in first since his weight won’t actually count.
Simon Previous: 136.5kg
Simon Current: 135.3kg
Simon Loss: 1.2kg
Simon looks disappointed. But that’s pretty obviously because he knows there’s cameras on him. He has Immunity and he has Margie’s (supposedly ironclad) word that his weight wouldn’t count. Waterloaded!
Hamish – and Hayley – suspect he took his foot off the pedal. But he says he worked very hard this week and he’s actually crushed.
Shannan’s not buying it. Says it’s a bit weird that he pulled a low number on the week he has immunity and his weight won’t be counted.
Alex Previous: 131.6kg
Alex Current: 129.3kg
Alex Loss: 2.3kg
That? I would not have picked. Unless they’re deliberately trying to put Graham up for Elimination yet again…
Graham thinks he’s pushed himself to his limit this week. But what we’ve seen every time is his idea of his limit is well short of his actual limit…
Graham Previous: 177.9kg
Graham Current: 173kg
Graham Loss: 4.9kg
Black Total: 7.2kg
Black Percentage: 2.33%
Graham was hoping for more than that. Steve says he should be happy with 4.9kg but it’s not the sort of loss Graham really requires. If he wants to mix it up with the best of the contestants he needs bigger numbers than that.
Graham knows he needs to work harder but he feels like this week has been a turning point for him.
Red Team’s turn with Lydia leading the charge.
Lydia Previous: 115.7kg
Lydia Current: 111.7kg
Lydia Loss: 4kg
She was hoping for 2 or 3kg so she’s quite happy with 4kg.
Michelle… doesn’t look happy. That’s the contestant Michelle, not the trainer. Hamish also looks unimpressed. Probably because they both realise they’re going to have their work cut out for them.
Lydia says if people thought she was a threat before well, now she’s only worrying about her team and her trainer and getting them across the line.
Margie Previous: 129.7kg
Margie Current: 126.8kg
Margie Loss: 2.9kg
Lisa Previous: 86.7kg
Lisa Current: 84.8kg
Lisa Loss: 1.9kg
Red Total: 8.8kg
Red Percentage: 2.65%
Red’s now in first place with Black being bumped to second.
White need at least 8kg between the three of them to move ahead of Black. Michelle and Kasey look very confident on hearing that.
Tiff looks slightly apprehensive. We’ll see!
Selena Previous: 138.5kg
Selena Current: 135.8kg
Selena Loss: 2.7kg
That’s a bit underwhelming. She says she feels good about that number, given she was out of her comfort zone. Her teammates don’t look quite as happy, nor does Tiff.
Selena thanks Red Team for sending them off to the bush. She says she struggled with the thought of leaving entirely but realised she needs to make the most of it.
Tiff says Selena needs to be there a lot. And she needs to stop relying on Michelle and Kasey to push her. And stop making excuses!
Kasey Previous: 111.4kg
Kasey Current: 106.5kg
Kasey Loss: 4.9kg
Great loss. Same as what Graham did AT CAMP.
Michelle needs at least 400 grams to keep her Team safe. But that can’t be right as Hamish could still push them below the Line. This dodgy recut math is annoying me.
Michelle Previous: 91.3kg
Michelle Current: 86.4kg
Michelle Loss: 4.9kg
HUGE RESULT.
White Total: 12.5kg
White Percentage: 3.66%
Very, very safe above the Line. Black are now definitely below the Yellow Line. Steve whispers, “Once again.”
Hamish needs at least 3.4kg to beat Red and be safe above the Line with White. Come on Hamish! Your girlfriend did more than that and she wasn’t at Camp!
Hamish Previous: 127kg
Hamish Current: 124kg
Hamish Loss: 3kg
Oh, Hamish. :-(
Blue Total: 3kg
Blue Percentage: 2.36%
He’ll be facing Elimination along with Black. White and Red – three members a piece – will be the ones voting. Ouch.
Hamish has felt like a target since Luke left. Especially at the Challenge the other day. Hamish is sad he won’t get a change to say goodbye to Michelle properly if he leaves today, that’s forefront in his thoughts.
Hamish manages to talk a bit about liking Michelle and stuff. It’s all very… Sweet? I suppose?
Hamish will now be facing Elimination. Black will have to decide who their sacrificial goat will be. They’d be crazy not to put Graham up. Simon has Immunity, so it’ll be between Alex and Graham.
Michelle is in tears and gives Michelle a big cuddle before leaving the room. Awwww.
Graham’s finally putting some smarts into this. He’s got the highest percentage so the agreement between them governing lowest percentage should mean Alex. But lowest percentage, in case of a tie, decides who goes home. Which would mean Alex would go home but Graham won’t.
Alex and Simon both check he’s sure about putting himself forward because it could backfire. Especially if the others work out why he’s up!
It’s a gamble regardless since Graham still has the greatest potential to drop big numbers for many weeks.
Hayley tells White and Red they’ve reached the halfway mark of the competition but one of their fellow contestants will be falling just short of that.
So, who’ll be facing Elimination? Hamish. Obviously. And then ad break?
Hamish and Graham. As we already knew. Der.
Margie says it’s surprising to see Graham sitting there. Why’d Graham put himself up? No beating around the bush. Graham says it’s because of the higher/lower percentage thing. Plus Alex is Graham’s big inspiration and he should get to stay. Awww!
But Graham’s been in that chair three times now. Does he deserve another chance, Hayley wonders aloud.
Everyone deserves another chance, Graham says. He still won’t get it done on the outside, still has dreams to fulfill. Graham’s hoping Red will have his back, as they’d agreed.
Lydia’s nodding her head but says, again, there’s no alliance. SIGH. It’s an alliance, fucking deal with it.
Lydia says there’s a relationship between the teams at the moment but it’s not unlike other relationships in the house.
Hamish has made a lot of changes and effort in the past week. The week’s been tough for him. And it feels like Red and Black have been targeting him all week. He knew when Luke left he’d be targeted, but it got even harder when White and Michelle got punted to the bush.
Hamish doesn’t feel like he’s a threat. He’s one person left on one team and there’s people with much larger numbers still to lose than he does.
Michelle says she’d rather go back to the bush than be there right now. The only thing that got her through the bush was knowing she’d be back to see Hamish. Awwwww!
Lisa’s right on the end of the voting. If any on Red will break, it’ll be her. So I doubt that’s coincedence.
In the event of a hung vote the lowest percentage loser will go home. That’s Hamish.
Kasey says it’s a hard decision, gets along with them both really well. But her vote’s gone to Graham. No big surprise.
Lydia’s up next. She’s voted for the person she thinks can be a threat in the game while the other person still needs to be there.
Oh come on, we all know you’re not voting for your allied guy. Get over yourself.
She also says that the person she’s not voting for has proven they want to be there over the past six weeks. Really? Graham’s proven he wants to be there? Fuckin’ hell.
Anyway, she voted for Hamish. Whoop. Shocking turn of events.
Selena’s turn. She’s voting with her head, not her heart. Cue worried look on Michelle’s face!
Selena’s voting based on who needs to be there more and so, with a heavy heart, she’s voted for HAMISH.
Ohhh, you’re so getting the boot from your Team for that. Neither Michelle nor Kasey look pleased by that.
Michelle says she’s shocked because Selena had told her otherwise but she holds nothing against her. Things change when you get in the room.
Selena says she was expecting Alex to be at the other end of the table and she would have voted for him if he had been. But Graham’s the biggest man in the competition and he still needs to be there, etc. But Hamish can do it, Selena thinks.
Hamish is on two and Graham is on one.
With a Red Team voting next and Hamish only needing one more vote… I think we know where this is going.
Maybe. The next one is Margie and, well, Margie’s CRAZY!
Ad break first, of course.
Margie says it’s never easy, having to vote. But she couldn’t vote for someone who’s been a workhorse from Day One. Never given up. He’s played the game with integrity and the other person has taken Temptation.
So her vote is for Hamish.
That’s three for Hamish meaning he’ll be going home. Shannan now has nobody left in Blue.
Selena is bawling. What did she expect to happen?! Idiot.
Michelle says she’s lost her best friend, which is hard when you’ve never had one before. Stay strong, she tells him. She knows the real Hamish, the others haven’t really taken the time to get to know him. She knows he’ll kill it on the outside.
:-(
Hamish says he can walk out of the room with his head held high. He needs to be proud of the person he’s becoming. He’s starting to like himself, finally. He couldn’t say that when he first arrived.
It’s only been in the past week he’s taken the important steps towards change. He can leave knowing a bunch of new people he likes talking to and he leaves without holding any grudges.
What’s the one thing you’re going to miss at Camp, Hamish? Michelle. Awwww.
Hamish says they’re going to flourish as two people when they’re both on the outside and he thinks Michelle is lovely. Awww.
Hamish can now say his goodbyes. Big hug from Graham and Lisa. Big teary cuddly hug from Michelle for a long time. Hamish gets her to promise she’ll be strong. Pinky-swear!
Bye Hamish!
4 weeks later. Hamish has had a haircut and… he’s looking quite a bit lighter!
And he’s working out in a shirt with a calculator on it. The calculator shows 5318008. Ha!
His Mum asks him if he’ll be inviting Michelle home for a home cooked meal at some point? And Hamish says it’s definitely on the cards.
He tells his Mum he’s nervous talking about her. His Mum says he would be, she’s his first girlfriend. Ha!
His audition tape shows how far he’s come. As do his old pants. Which he could fit into twice now! If, you know, there was two of him.
Tomorrow night… a final farewell between the two lovebirds. Including a kiss! AWWWWWWW!
Then Loser Lounge gets uncomfortable as Tiff points out that Selena voted Michelle’s boyfriend out.
Now Shannan has no team at all. So he leaves. :-(
Go round up Hamish and Luke and train them in secret to make a comeback!
Then the week will be “Young Pups” versus “Old Dogs”. And that somehow means Margie will be in the same team as Selena.
That’s not going to end well, is it?
