TBL 7×26 – Can nothing stop Selena’s hair?

Previously on The Biggest Loser the White Team got sent out to the bush until Weigh-In!

Tonight the Temptation continues for Simon. He’s determined to take Immunity away from Hamish, but how many more tasty treats will he have to eat to make that happen?
And will Margie even honour her agreement with him if he keeps going?

Also Hamish might finally be pulling his finger out in training, all because of a girl. AWWWWWWWWWW!

But as the episode starts we’re watching Simon chomp away on his hamburger still. And still loving it!

One barbie down, five left. Going again, Simon? Yep!
He tells us he’s playing only to stop Hamish getting Immunity. None of them want him to have it, but will Simon’s belly hold out long enough?

Next BBQ, lift the lid and… IMMUNITY! Simon (and the rest of his team and Red) are stoked to find the Immunity without too much damage.
Hamish doesn’t seem to mind, either. Maybe he’s finally realised he just has to do the work and he’ll be fine?

Back at Camp a scary storm is brewing while Hamish is talking about the way Red and Black are ganging up on the youngsters.

White Team? Bunkered down hiding from the storm. Kasey doesn’t seem to mind too much, Michelle’s doing okay, Selena’s a bit freaked out.
Next morning? Still bucketing down. Get out in the rain and get clean you doofuses!

Selena tells us she’s not handling the change very well, she’s struggling and she’s thinking of leaving the competition and going home. She has a lot of demons to battle, she tells the other girls, and she knows she has to try and get past that but she’s finding it hard.
Selena’s talking about wasting the opportunity and she feels like she doesn’t deserve to be there. The other girls tell her she does deserve to be there and she’s still there. Think about why she came – her sister, wanting to inspire people – but do it for herself. Don’t let herself down.
They’re all still talking when they could be working out! Get up and get working!

Hamish is having trouble getting up in the mornings, Shannan says. Well, Shannan will be his personal alarm clock, if that’s what it takes.
Pretty sure there’s a lot of ladies around Australia who’d pay top dollar for that kind of service, Shannan!

Probably some men, too.

Hamish is Shannan’s last man standing so they can’t be taking any chances, he’s got to work hard.
Shannan asks him if he got Immunity. No. He didn’t even take part in Temptation. Shannan is amazed. Hamish tells him he wants to be above the Yellow Line on his own merits and Shannan is very proud of him. But also knows that without the safety net he’s going to have to work very hard and put in a big result on the scales.

Hamish gets on the treadmill alongside Shannan while telling us that running’s not really his thing, but he’s got to push through it and try to enjoy it.
Shannan reminds him of the blowup they had at training last time. What’s changed since then, Shannan asks him.
Hamish doesn’t want to go home without seeing Michelle. N’AWWWWWWWWW!!!
So she’s made a big difference to his life? Hamish shushes him and Shannan’s having none of that, says it’s just them, just the Blue Team, no secrets in the Blue Team!

It’s also the camera crew and maybe a producer and AUSTRALIA but okay!

Hamish misses Michelle. He misses having a chat with her at the end of each day. That’s what he’s thinking about when he runs now. Shannan’s happy Hamish has found something to spur him on.

Shannan’s thrilled Hamish is starting to speak like a real 20 year old. And Hamish wants to at least have a chance to say goodbye to Michelle. Awwww! So much awww!

Tiff’s got the girls at the edge of a slightly manky river, lots of mud and some tires and sandbags piled up.
Tiff looks pristine. Wonderful. Gloriously clean.
The workout hasn’t even started and the ninjas are already looking pretty grubby. They’re going to be a mess by the end of this!

Selena’s looking glum. The fire in her eyes is gone, Tiff says.
Yep, we’re back to her talking about wasting the opportunity and not pushing herself hard enough. Less talk more work!
Tiff tells her that all that shows why she needs to be there. Tiff needs to train her mind to get this done.

Tiff in the side bits has some mud daubed on her cheeks that doesn’t look at all staged. Her top is still spotless!

Tiff is sick of her girls being princesses and now it’s time for them to be warriors! Get some war paint on! They all grab fingers full of mud and scrape it across their cheeks. Classy!

“I AM A WARRIOR! I AM STRONG!” Etc. Tiff has them lugging rope into the river and back and forth. Then lifting tires in the water. Carrying them out of the water. Running back and forth.

Selena’s glad that Tiff’s there to push them along while away from Camp because that helps them to focus on her rather than everything else.
Tiff is trying to convince Selena she’s not leaving Camp. Sloshing around in the river alongside her.

Meanwhile Michelle’s stopped working out and is crying to Kasey for some reason?
Tiff thinks the experience of being banished is starting to chip away at the girls. They’re becoming a bit more fragile and emotional.
Michelle’s worried that Tiff is abandoning her and Kasey to focus on Selena but Tiff says no! She thinks Michelle is AWESOME. The reason Tiff’s always on Selena’s back is because she needs to be pushed – Tiff trusts Michelle. Michelle’s getting shit done on her own.
Tiff tells her she deserves to be there, she works hard and she deserves it no matter what happens.

Michelle’s also missing Hamish. TOTES LOVEBIRDS FOR EACH OTHERRRR!
She’s wondering if he’s missing her as well and of course then it’s back to Blue Team. Well, Hamish and Shannan!

Shannan tells him if he feels a certain way, then he feels a certain way. It’s all cool!
Hamish isn’t sure how he’s going to tell her how he feels when she gets back. Shannan asks him how he thinks he’ll tell her?
Shannan tells him to look Shannan in the eyes, man to man.

So how can he broach the subject with Michelle? Let’s think outside the circle, Shannan asks him.
Hamish says it’s a matter of whether he survives elimination and Shannan says he will. That’s in his power, don’t even think about that being a problem.
What will he actually say to her when she gets back?

He’s going to tell Michelle that while she was away he really missed her and it had a big impact on his training because he didn’t want to go home without getting a chance to talk to her again.
Shannan tells him that’s the way to go, don’t try and use big words so nobody knows what you’re on about, just speak from the heart and be himself. N’awwwww! Shannan’s the best wingman ever!
And make sure you’re above the Yellow Line, yeah? “Yes, Shannan.” “No, not yes Shannan. I’m your mate.” “Yes, mate.”

SO MUCH HEALTHY MAN LOVE!

Could it be first love? Yes, Hamish says. And she’s worth fighting for. So let’s do it! Both of them get up on their bikes and go faster.
Shannan tells Hamish to get up on the scales, head held high and tell her how it is. No regrets!

Mish has her people out in the pool at Camp today. Margie’s not been swimming for a long time because she was worried she’d need Sea Shepard to come protect her. Har har har.

Lydia’s not a swimmer. Somewhat understandable, being a big girl, but even the basics escape her. She’s having trouble even kicking her way from one end of the pool to the other while holding a kickboard in front.
Lydia’s struggling and she’s not entirely sure why. She’s often not even moving in the pool, just sort of floating in place. And Mish says it’s the first time we’ve really seen Lydia doubt herself at Camp. And it’s a good thing she’s found something she’s not that good at because it challenges her to do better.
Lydia loves setting goals so they’re going to set a swimming related goal!

Margie says Lydia’s a bit like a dog with no legs just bobbing around in the water.
Lydia’s taking a positive outlook on it though – at least now she knows she’s not the go to girl for any challenges involving water!

But now it’s time for the weekly challenge and everyone files out of Camp and into the cars for a trip to… A quarry somewhere?

Err, okay?

Hayley’s there to welcome them. White’s still away in the bush so it’s only three teams, again.

The challenge? Each team has a pile of rocks. Each team has to break the rocks down to size to fit into the buckets provided. When they have a full bucket they can run it up a hill to a set of cages. Tip the rocks into another team’s cage. When a cage is full, they’re out. Last team without a full basket will win!

And the winning team will get to choose another team to go without their trainer until the next weigh-in.

Soooo… guess Hamish will be going without Shannan till weigh-in, since Red and Black will gang up on him. Sigh.

The winning team will also get to make phone calls home to their family and friends. But not just phone calls. Video phone calls!
Margie misses her Mum and Dad. Awww!

Hamish will be playing for the Blue Team, obviously.
Black Team… will get to decide who plays for Red and vice-versa. Mwahahaha!

Red figure they’ve got to pick Graham because he’ll end up crying halfway through. So he’ll be Black’s champion.
Red’s? Well, nobody on Black wants to choose. Alex refuses to choose, Graham closes his eyes, so it’s left to Simon.

Lisa and Simon enjoy spending time together but they’re trying not to let that get in the way of the game so Simon’s making the logical choice.

Red’s Champion will be Lisa. Lydia’s PISSED. Margie looks unimpressed. Lisa seems the least perturbed of the team. She has a bit of a giggle, even.
Simon says Margie and Lydia like controlling with an iron fist and they think they’re the only ones who can carry Red to victory. So why would he choose them? And he rightly points out that they picked Graham, who’s got a shoulder injury and who they know is the most likely to break.

Gotta agree with Simon, stop your whinging, Margie and Lydia!
Lisa’s having a giggle with us saying she felt a bit of pressure when Margie and Lydia stormed off in disgust. Can’t she get at least a little chance?

Graham’s shoulder injury came from Week 1 when he was using a sledgehammer on a tractor tire so he’s hoping to show his team he’s gotten over that and can contribute in challenges now.

Graham’s a country boy, he says. He splits his own firewood. He’s mostly just concerned by his cardio up and down the hill.

Lisa knows she can break the rocks, she’s done it a long time ago. She thinks she’ll just struggle with the buckets.

Hamish is a bit at a loss. He’s hoping for the best each time he smacks the hammer down.

Lisa’s the first to take some buckets up the hill but she says the handles are cutting into her hands right from the start.
Graham’s second but he’s smartly split more rocks than needed to fill his two buckets so he’ll be able to do two trips back to back to give him time to recover.

Red and Black are getting closer to each other, Lydia says, and they both want Hamish gone. So the first lot of rocks from Red go in Hamish’s cage and then Graham’s go in there, too.
Then Graham’s back down the hill to grab another couple of bucketloads that’re already broken up.

Meanwhile poor Hamish is still slaving away at his pile. He’s doing what Graham did, creating a stockpile of rocks before taking his first load up there.
Simon’s actually encouraging Hamish along the way.
But with Blue getting rocks from both Black and Red, he won’t be in the fight for long.

So Hamish is playing smart and focusing just on putting rocks into the Red Team’s basket. And Simon couldn’t be happier since that puts them so much closer to being wiped out after Hamish is inevitably knocked out of the running.

Margie sledges him a bit on his way down, telling him Lisa’s always been supportive of him and now he’s putting rocks in her basket?
Hamish tells us he doesn’t know what Margie’s upset about since both Red and Black are stacking the rocks into his first!

Hamish gets down the bottom and has a short break and drink while Simon lends him some encouraging words. Hamish is a bit shirty over Margie’s words to him. He won’t repeat them to Simon but Simon tells him not to let her get to him.

Margie’s in Lisa’s ear on the way down the hill about not supporting Hamish anymore and Lisa’s not having a bar of it. She says it’s just a game, it’s okay. And they’re targeting him, she points out.
Don’t think anyone much is on your side there, Margie. Stop being such a bitch and get on with it.

Simon thinks if it comes down to a vote between Red and Black then he thinks they might secure Hamish’s vote because of the way Red’s always on his case.
Hayley asks Lydia if there’s a bit of an alignment between Simon and Hamish and Lydia thinks there is. Simon put Lisa up, after all, relationship or not.

Meanwhile Lisa, the one doing all the work, doesn’t seem to mind in the slightest!
Lisa tells us she wasn’t surprised Hamish went for them and as she gets to the top with a load and sees Blue’s cage almost full and Red’s starting to fill up… she decides to put some into the Black cage.

Simon’s noticed that they’ve done it and is chatting to Graham on the way up about them not being too far behind once Hamish is out.
Graham’s gone out hard with some heavy loads right from the start, so he’s finding it harder to get to the top with the buckets, especially as the biggest contestant still in the game. But he’s not giving up yet!

Hamish’s basket is filling very, very quickly. It’s almost full but the rocks have to be above the yellow line taped around the cage and so Hamish manages to dump another load into the Red cage before finally being eliminated.

Hamish is a bit disappointed but he’s done well. He tells us he managed to fill up a fair bit of Red’s basket so he’s hoping that’s enough to give an advantage to Black.

Lisa’s counting on Graham to slow down and give up but so far he’s going well. And now he’s got Hamish calling encouragements to him as well.
Graham says it’s been tough to push through the pain barriers and his injuries but he’s determined to do well today.

As Simon’s tromping down the hill for a bit with Lisa Margie asks him if he knew Lisa had a sore knee and he – and Lisa – both say yes. Lisa reminds Margie again that it’s a game, it’s okay!
Simon turns it around on Margie and asks if she knew Graham had a sore shoulder? Margie says he had a medical clearance, didn’t he and Simon persists, did she know? Because if you’re going to go that route she has to take it as well. Margie tells him to calm down.

The hell? Shut your mouth, Margie. Can dish it out but can’t take it, huh?

Simon says Lisa understood why she was chosen and accepted it and just saw it as part of the game. The other two are just being sore losers and that’s fine.
Margie’s still carrying on like porkchop while relaying the story to Lydia. Lisa’s still in earshot and tells her to knock it off, she was the one who started that. Margie thinks Simon’s riding on Red’s coattails now he’s got a relationship with Lisa. Thinks he’s playing the game and sneaky and so on.

Eh. Fuck off. Fingers crossed she’s gone at the next elimination.

Lisa tries dumping some rocks into Black’s cage but accidentally drops the bucket down in there as well. And the others can’t help her retrieve it. Fun!

Lisa’s disappointed but manages to not give in. Red’s cage is nearly full and so they probably won’t beat Black but she doesn’t want to just give up.

Graham’s walking up the hill with what he hopes will be his last two buckets. He’s getting a bit emotional as the other boys keep telling him to imagine his parents at the top but it also helps him to keep pushing.
Still not quite enough rocks so it’s back down the hill for Graham.

Lisa wants to finish on a high note with another load into the Black basket. And then not see any more buckets ever again!

Graham tips in the final rocks, finally and win the challenge. Awesome!
On the last walk down the hill Graham had encouraging words for Lisa and Lisa said he was doing well as well.

Graham’s gained a lot of confidence in his own abilities now.

Margie’s still filthy with Simon picking out Lisa and now she’s considering going back on the arrangement they had. Doubt Black need the safety net since Simon works hard and didn’t eat all that much at Temptation anyway…

Black Team will now get to make video calls to their nearest and dearest when they get back to Camp. Graham’s looking forward to chatting to his Mum and Dad. He and his Dad look after all the fire gear on a weekend so they spend a lot of time together and Graham misses that.

Meanwhile Margie’s still moaning on about losing the challenge. Hey producers, we don’t care! She’s being horrible.

Hayley then offers the others the chance to have video calls home as well… but only if Black Team agree to it.
Black, being the nice guys of the competition, agree without hesitation. Alex says no, but only as a laugh.

Black also get another reward. They have to choose a team to lose their trainer till weigh-in. Big decision, get a chance to discuss it.

They leave the decision to Graham because he was the won who earned the reward for them. It’s got to be Hamish or Red.
Yes, they have an agreement at the weigh-in but that means nothing at the challenge, Simon says.

OH IT’S ON, BITCHES!

Monday night, talk about who can trust who.
And Tiff’s going to take a tablet PC out to the bush to show Hamish discussing his feelings with Shannan. ARG! So not fair! Secret men’s business. SECRET MEN’S BUSINESS!

Then an emotional reunion at the weigh-in with Hamish and Michelle sharing a big hug. Awww!

Also the Red and Black not-an-alliance alliance is called into question. Shannan’s not buying Margie’s denials saying if it looks like a duck and quacks it’s probably a duck!

And tomorrow night an extended look at Luke’s drunken loutishness. Oh, good.
Also a look at the rest of his departure stuff.
And a catch up with Bek who’s looking dead sexy on the outside…
