TBL 7×24 – Elimination night. Night time training. And a Contest!

Previously on The Biggest Loser Luke was the unfortunate expulsion from Camp for being a drunkard. Who saw that coming?!

Everyone who saw him during his 24 hour leave pass.

Bek and Graham face Elimination tonight with Red and Hamish voting on who to send home.
Also a middle of the night training session from hell for everyone at Camp then a run back again with some dire fate awaiting someone at the end. Dun dun dun!

But first, Bek reliving the betrayal last night by her Team.

Then, Red and and Hamish have to write down their votes, again.

Margie’s close to Graham and Bek and it’s nothing personal but her vote is going based on who really needs to stay there and she hopes she’s not hated for this but her vote has gone to Bek.

Lisa’s gone strategic and she thinks that means because White have more members she should vote Bek out. So that’s two votes for Bek and as the smallest Loser of the two, that’s enough to send her home. Awww!

Bek’s not surprised, just disappointed. She’d seen this coming with White having four people still and Graham being so deserving and she couldn’t write Graham’s name down last week, either.
But she’s still devastated, nonetheless. She’s hoping she can go home and do her best and do okay.

Margie says she’s confident in Bek’s strength and thinks she can do it on the outside where Graham really needs to still be there.
Margie’s the first person Bek met on the journey and she’ll always have a special place in her heart. Awww. Bek wishes them all the best in the rest of their journey and she really means it.

Bek says it’s been an enlightening and enriching journey and she doesn’t think her life will ever be the same again. And she’s grateful for everyone who’s been on the journey with her.

Selena thinks White has a big target on their back and she’ll be surprised to see Bek come back. Kasey tells us it’ll be very uncomfortable if Bek comes back because she might be holding a grudge against the rest of them.

Kasey’s glad when Graham walks in from Elimination because she knew they wouldn’t have to face Bek.

Lydia tells White about Bek feeling betrayed and Kasey says they did have a conversation about voting for Selena. Michelle says the discussion was right after the challenge so emotions were still raw.
But then Kasey sat down and had a hard think about it and in the end did she want to win challenges or weigh-ins? Weigh-ins are what keep you in the game, not challenges.
Kasey tells us that Selena being the biggest girl means she CAN pull good numbers, she’d just better start doing so…

4 weeks later Bek is wearing a low cut dress that shows off her boobies quite nicely. Hooray!
She also looks a bit thinner and healthier in general and is working out regularly with her trainer and at the gym.
Bek’s in tears watching her audition tape but she’s pleased she’s made so much progress. She’s not going back to that.
Her focus now is on living life to the fullest.

After the big party the trainers have decided the competition needs a shake up. Middle of the night and the trainers are taking back control of Biggest Loser.

Shannan wakes up Hamish. Tiffiny’s taken a bit of pipe and a metal bin into her team’s bedroom to pound on to get them all up. Mish just uses her voice!

Clothes on, you’ve got five minutes!
Margie thinks that maybe she’s dreaming but then she realises the psycho is in there and waking them up at 2am for training!

They’re heading to the “Q Station”? At Manly. Shannan reminds them that Luke’s actions have lead to him being expelled from the competition. Do the rest of them really want to be there? Changing their life doesn’t mean bending or breaking the rules, that’s what got them there in the first place.
They’ve got four trainers and they’re all going to get the full weight of their expertise this time.

And Tiff is going first! She’s got them warming up with some jogging on the spot and turning around when she yells at them to change. Then some shadow boxing followed by pushups. Graham says she’s like a bunny rabbit, going around everywhere so fast.

Shannan stops them partway through some grouped up pushups and says they’re at the halfway point and they’re still doing pushups on their knees? Get up on your toes!
Lydia tells us there’s really no reason they shouldn’t be doing it on their toes.

Kasey tries to collapse onto her knees but Shannan’s not letting her off easy. Every time she falls down the others have to start over too.
The other contestants have daggers for her, Kasey thinks. She keeps telling Shannan she can’t while Shannan yells down at her to toughen up and do it already! We’ll be here all night if that’s what it takes!

Kasey eventually manages to tough it out for the required 10 seconds, much to everyone else’s relief.

Graham looks like he’s slacking off and making excuses again. Steve’s not having a bar of it tonight. The medic told Steve that Graham can do pushups so why isn’t he doing it?
Graham thinks if he hurts himself he’ll be going home, because he hurt himself? Steve thinks it would be better to go home because he’s hurt himself but do it with integrity rather than going home because he’s just not losing the weight.
Graham’s pulling faces and Steve thinks he’s copping out. And he won’t open his eyes and look at Steve until Steve insists.

What’s the thing that’s going to help him the most? Losing the weight! Does that not compute? Does he not go to bed at night realising that? The more weight he loses the easier things will become. Isn’t he afraid of going home? Yes, he is. So push yourself harder, Steve says!
Graham needs someone pushing him like that because he’s gotten there through depression and not having respect for himself.

Mish has her section next and it’s lifting 10kg sandbags onto your partner’s shoulders, partner throws it up into the air and onto the ground again.
Selena’s paired with Lydia. Lydia’s pissed because Selena is slacking off, as usual. She can’t even hold the weight across her shoulders like she’s supposed to.

With Luke gone Lydia’s the powerhouse and the favourite, Shannan says.

Then they’re all doing squats with the sandbags over their shoulders and Mish gets them to hold halfway down while she asks them what makes them think they can go all the way in this competition.
Margie’s strong, Hamish wants to make himself proud, Lydia wants to be the best, fittest competitor ever.

And once the session is finally done the contestants all look completely wrecked. Which is what the trainers wanted out of them.

And as they’re all applauding each other’s efforts up rocks Hayley!

Hayley says she can see they’re all exhausted. They’ve been pushed to their limits, nothing left in the tank?
Well, there better be something left in there because now it’s a race back to Camp. And you’ll want to be first back to Camp because you’ll receive massive power. And if you’re not the first team back you could face devastating consequences.

Well, what are you waiting for? Off you go!

Red’s taking the early lead but Hamish is surprisingly right on their heels. Shannan thinks this is a new Hamish with determination and commitment after something clicked in the training session.
Not sure about that, Shannan’s got his hand in Hamish’s back all the way along the path up from the steps.

Black’s last by a mile. Alex still has his huge immobilising boot on but he’s not giving up.

Hamish is the last Blue contestant left and so he’s solely responsible for keeping himself in the game.
Mish knows the Red Team will have to make a break at some point or else Hamish might just overtake them.

Shannan’s impressed by the determination in Hamish’s face today. First time he’s really seen it out of him and he’s pleased.

Margie’s urging her teammates on along with Mish. Margie’s clearly not going to let the team lose. She’s got them doing a scout’s pace style of covering large amounts of ground. Jog from one speed bump to the next, then slow down to a walk after the bump for a bit of a rest and then pick up the jog again a bit further on.
Mish laughs and tells Margie she’s going to give her her job!
Margie tells us she was making it very clear she wouldn’t be letting the girls lose this.

Lisa and Lydia are doing it the hardest, Margie’s just soldiering on.
Hamish, meanwhile, is powering on. No breaking down or crying or anything, just knuckling down and doing it.

Red’s decided to run the final stretch up the driveway and beat Hamish to the finish line. But not by a whole hell of a lot for a change. Big turn around for him!
All the girls congratulate him and give him big hugs and Hamish is proud to be second. And Lisa points out it’s not just second, he got second all by himself. Hamish is ecstatic, he tells us.
Shannan asks him if it’s a sign of things to come and Hamish is huffing and puffing but he says yes. And next up is coming first.

Kasey and Michelle are ahead of Selena by quite a bit while Tiffiny is trying to encourage Selena to go faster. Because Black is closing in. And Alex might be injured and almost 30 years older but Alex has a lot more heart and is managing to run while Tiffiny is shouting to Selena it’s time to get going. As are the other girls. Tiff says it’s not about getting Selena’s body to do it it’s pushing the mind into it.

But no amount of encouragement is getting Selena to go any more than a shuffle.

Steve says he’s sure the other teams were expecting White to come in third but no sirree!

Everyone’s got a lot of congratulations for Alex at the finish line. Even Hayley checks he’s okay afterwards but he’s fine, if pooped!

Meanwhile poor Tiffiny is hollering at Selena to run, got her hands planted on her back telling her to run and Selena FINALLY runs when the end is in sight… and can’t even run across the finish line before she stops running.
Kasey says if they’d kept Bek they might have done a bit better but they’ve got to live with it now…

First team back, Red, will now have the power to destroy another team. They now must choose another team to leave Camp Biggest Loser immediately.

Selena is gobsmacked. Hope they pick White, would serve her right!

The Team selected will be “banished from Camp”. But only until the next weigh-in. They will not be training, eating or sleeping at Camp. No showers, no beds, no rooves over their heads.
They will be going bush! Yay Fat Camping Trip!

Red go off to discuss their options. Lydia thinks White Team would really struggle. Margie’s worried it might bring them closer together but Lydia thinks it’d just tear them further apart.
They’re also then splitting up Hamish and Michelle, they whisper. There might be some repercussions but they’re not too worried.

White Team’s going bush! Tiff looks stoked. The others aren’t so thrilled but Selena hopes it’ll help them bond as a team.

Hamish gives Michelle a hug as they go back into Camp. Oh no, he won’t see her for a whole week!
Michelle’s probably glad she gets some time away?

Transport awaits, White Team. Off you go.
Tiff doesn’t have to go with them either. Just the three girls.

Then we find them wandering through the bush and they come across what looks like a cargo drop. That’d be their supplies for the week.
They’ve got to set up the campsite before they can do anything.
And before they can do that, Michelle’s already got a leech attached to her leg. Ick ick ick!
Kasey tries flicking it off but that doesn’t work so well. They eventually get it off with the aid of a stick. Not sure that’s advisable…

Michelle’s going to sleep on the eskies they’ve got to stay above the ground. They’ve also got mosquito nets to sleep inside. But no pillows! Kasey says she bets even Ned Kelly had pillows.

Now it’s Red, Black and Hamish battling it out in today’s Contest.

There’s three poles out in the water. And the Contest is called Last Man Standing. Each team’s champion will have to stand on the platform, which will get a bit smaller as the Contest goes on.

Last one still standing on a platform will get the power of The Walk, which could alter the game significantly.

Hamish, Margie and Simon are selected as Champions. Simon’s standing quite precariously from the start with his feet spread too far onto the collapsing platform bits. If one of them give way he’s going to smash his junk on the pole. Lisa would be as crushed as his nuts!

45 minutes in and all three are standing strong. So Margie strikes up a discussion with Hamish. She asks him what is with him and Michelle. She’s a nice girl but Margie questions her taste in men. She’s lovely, better than lovely. Having strong feelings for her? Maybe!
He’s not going so far as to say he’s in love with her yet though.

Does he think she’d make a good wife? Yes!

90 minutes. Time to move part of their platforms away! Simon’s not too worried, he’s already checked he’ll fit on it. One bit of the platform drops away and they’re all still fine.
Two hours, too easy! Off with another bit.

Margie says Hamish is shaking a lot, is he alright? No, his feet hurt! Margie’s taking great delight in chatting to him.

Hamish is slowly shifting position to try and relieve the pain, trying not to let the pain get the best of him.

2 hours 35 minutes! No more of the platform to take away.

Margie’s chatting away to the people on the shore. Hamish is having stomach pains and struggling a lot. Margie’s telling him to hang in there but Hamish can’t any longer and he hops off into the cool water. He’s proud of the effort he’s put into this challenge. Everyone tells him Shannan will be proud, too.

3 hours. Margie looks over at Simon who’s looking just as serene as she is. Margie asks him if she dives in will Black inflict the Walk pain on Red?
Simon promises to do the right thing. Margie says they looked after Black at Elimination, so, you know!

Margie suggests that he wouldn’t do anything too mean to Lisa, would he? And they come to a sort of agreement to not dump the other team into too much strife.

3 hours 30 minutes and Hayley’s complaining that it’s taking too long and it’s hot. So when Hayley says to they have to go to one foot only. And Margie’s not sure her balance is up to that!

Tomorrow night we find out if Margie or Simon wins. Or if they get to four hours and Hayley has to suggest no feet!
Then Blue is down to one member and so Hamish is getting the full force of Shannan’s training.

Then, Temptation. Delicious pavlova is one of the tempting treats. I want a pavlova. :-(
