Last night on The Biggest Loser the Ice Cream Man came to visit Camp Biggest Loser for Temptation. Yay!

Joe won Immunity via that Temptation. Boooooo!

Greg also made a surprise return to Camp after Michelle took pity on him. He’s been struggling with the weightloss on the outside and so she’s brought him back to Camp for a week to give him a tune-up.

Tonight is MAKEOVER DAY!

If they make Lara’s hair that fucking awful white they inflicted first on Kimberlie and have ruined women with in every season since? I’m going to be really pissed.

Everyone turns up for Makeover Day at Brad Ngata? He’s some nerdy looking guy. Also the girls from Napoleon are there for finishing touches which I guess is makeup? Or clothes? Not sure.

Sharlene’s hair is 18 and she’s 50, Brad says. So they’re going to bring the two closer together.
Meg says she’s not going to know herself by the end of the day.

Lara’s in tears already, Shannan notices. But they’re excited tears, Lara says. Will she be able to look in the mirror today and say she looks pretty? Lara hopes so!

Leigh’s scared but excited. He’s got some spiky ‘do going early on.

Lara’s getting hair extensions!

Sarah’s the first to be revealed and she has shorter bob cut with some dark red highlights and a really pasty pale makeup job.
Leigh’s got his hair spiked up.

Joe’s got a much shorter haircut. He says he’s speechless, hasn’t had that short hair for so long and it’s really showing his face.
Greg’s standing in the background, not getting Makeover. Good!
Michelle’s never had such a challenging contestant, she says. They’ve had a rocky road but he’s turned it around now.

Everyone is all hairdressed and made up and they head to Australian Technology Park (?) for the final bit of styling.
Collette Harvey (?) is a freelance designer and she’s there with her team to help them find new looks.

Leigh’s got a pair of size 34 jeans to start with and they’re actually baggy on him! Down a size it is!

Now it’s time for the full reveal in front of the mirror.

Sharlene’s in a frilly blue dress. “Blue for life!” She feels great though she hasn’t seen herself yet.
Sharlene’s changed a lot from the girl who tried to walk out very early on. She’s very glad she came back on that day and she loves Shannan, awwwwwwwwwwwwww!

Shannan gets her in front of the mirror with her eyes closed. She’s a bit scared. Last time she looked at herself in a full length mirror was before she came to Camp, when she was still the frumpy housewife.
Shannan finally tells her to open her eyes and she gasps and asks if it’s a trick mirror. She’s really happy and amazed at how good she looks. She says she looks sexy! And it’s going to be really nice for Craig to see a genuine beauty again.
When was the last time she felt beautiful and sexy for Craig? When they got married, Sharlene says. Yikes!
Sharlene tells us she’s not going back to the unhappy, grumpy, frumpy Sharlene.

After an ad break Lara – in pretty blonde hair, not horrible white hair, yay! – is getting fitted up for a spiffy dress. It’s a size 12 they get her in first and it’s actually too big. “I don’t have boobs anymore!” Collette says they can do something about that.

Greg’s apparently got a Makeover as well. His hair has been tidied up and got some new clothes. Dangit. Michelle says Greg’s feeling like he doesn’t deserve it but he’s lost most of the weight on the outside so he does deserve it.
Mish says she knows he must be looking at the other contestants and wishing he was looking that good but he should think what he’ll be like at Finale if he just keeps up the hard word.

Sarah looks very feminine, Steve says. She’s never heard that sort of thing before.
She’s hoping to go from ugly duckling to beautiful swan today.
She’s really thrilled to have a waistline and she says “Ohhh, I’m skinny!” And then points at Steve and says, “You are too cool! You’ve done this to me!”
Steve says they’ve had their ups and downs over the course of the competition. They’ve learned a lot from each other and they’ve formed a bond, an emotional attachment and he’ll never give up on her.
Steve’s got his arm around her to have a look at them both in the mirror and they… really don’t look at all ridiculous.
She says she loves Steve and she doesn’t really say that to guys very much, but she loves him right now!

But there’s still one more surprise, of course. Sarah’s going to have to walk down the catwalk in front of the big crowd out in the main room. Ooooh, scary!

Random people are now talking about who they want to see the transformations for as they file in to the catwalk area. There’s before pictures up all over the place for them to look at.

Kellie’s recalling the way she’d push her husband away before coming to Camp. She wants to look and feel sexy for her husband again. Awwww.
She has a really lovely purple-y dress on. Showing a bit of cleavage, got some nice sparkly jewellery and a really nice hairdo.
Her husband would be amazed to see her now. She’s away from her kids and husband but it’s all been worth it, seeing herself today.

Lara walks in to the room where Shannan’s waiting to show her the mirror and Shannan can’t hold back his shock at how amazing she looks. She’s never worn anything like it before.
Then she gets to see herself in the mirror and is struck dumb. Shortly followed by sobs and tears. We’ve still not seen anything below her underarms. What the hell? Show us already!
Lara tried to write a letter to Shannan to thank him the other night. But how do you thank a man who’s changed your life?
Shannan’s had a ball changing her life though, she’s never taken a backward step. And he says she had some of the best words for him but the biggest reward was seeing her today.

Time for the catwalk!

First out the doors is… the trainers. Oh come on, they all look fantastic anyway!

Tiff introduces the first contestant, someone they may no longer recognise. Her ninja, Meg!
Meg’s in a pretty green wrappy-dress with a big black shiny belt and some strappy heels. Hair is a darker, deeper red. She even does a little twirly in her dress.
She’s lost just under 45kg, she announces, much to the excitement of the crowd.
Meg says she’s a whole lot different to the girl in the before-picture with the bogan clothes and the akubra hat. Apparently the hat doesn’t even fit her anymore, her head’s shrunk!

Meg then gets a surprise visit from… Dunno? I guess it’s her Mum?
Yes! Her Mum. Meg tells us it’s her Mum. And her Mum is so proud of her and she looks so fantastic.
She’s a beautiful butterfly and now she can spread her wings and give her grandkids, hee!

But there’s someone else here too. Hubby! Yay! And he’s brought her flowers and an enormous hug. Awwwwwwwww! She’s in even more tears.
The husband wonders where the other half of his other half has gone. He says it never mattered to him if she was fat but so long as her self esteem is back, that’s the important bit. Awwww!

Michelle’s turn to introduce Joe.
Joe’s in a casual suit, no tie, shirt’s hanging out of his coat sleeves like a dag though.
But wow, he looks so skinny already. He just looks like a normal dude. And it’s nowhere near Finale!
Mish says he looks 10-12 years younger as a result of his makeover.
And he’s lost 40.6kg so far, he announces to the crowd. One of the ladies in the crowd says, “That’s great!”

Joe was asked this afternoon if he had something to say to Michelle, what would it be? It’d be thankyou. Awww!
Joe tells us he could never thank her enough for how much she’s persevered with him.

Now it’s time for Joe to meet his special people. His tiny wife and his tiny kids. Awwww!
He gives the tiny wife and a tiny kid a big dual-hug. Other tiny kid is busy looking at the big pictures of his Dad on the wall and waving to the pictures. SO ADORABLE!
His son doesn’t recognise Joe, at all. Keeps looking for his Dad on the walls to wave to. Even when he’s in his Dad’s arms. And then Mish gets to hold him for a bit and he’s still looking for his Dad on the walls. And then he goes for a wander on the catwalk. So adorable!
Joe’s wife has never seen Joe looking so slim before. Even when they first met he wasn’t so slender, she says. Mish says it’s like having a new husband, she can thank her now!

Next up is Shannan’s first contestant introduction. Shannan gets a huge cheer as soon as he stands up.
Leigh’s the first reveal. He was a boy when Shannan got him but he’s all grown up now.
Leigh has a bit of a freakout before coming out on the catwalk, not sure he can do it… but he eventually comes out in a checked shirt and some skinny man jeans and a spiffy mohawk spike type haircut. He looks just like a normal dude, too.
And the ladies likey!

Then he sees the picture of him on the wall and he’s amazed.
Shannan says that Leigh earned his respect and then kept losing it again the next day. But it switched around – because Leigh got sick of Shannan yelling at him, he says. But then they started having fun and enjoying training and now they’re mates. Right? Yep. Mates!

And Leigh’s got a mate he’s been missing and that’s who he has there. Leigh was Best Man at Sean’s wedding and the photos from the wedding are what convinced Leigh to do something about it.
Leigh always put himself up as the happy fat guy but Sean says he could tell Leigh was hurting on the inside and it’s great to see him having come so far in such a short time.

Steve’s next to stand up. Next person is Sarah. She’s never worn a dress in her life, he says.
Sarah’s very scared of crowds and there’s no way she could have done it before but tonight she gets out there and even has a smile on her face. See, it won’t break you!
The crowd cheers loudly for her and she says to us that she doesn’t want to hide anymore.
Sarah says she doesn’t need to hide from a crowd when she’s smoking hot like this!
She’s lost 6 dress sizes. She was a size 28 and now she’s a size 16. How does that even work?

Then her special person comes out and it’s… Kim, her totally lesbian girlfriend!
Kim says Sarah’s the most beautiful woman she’s ever seen. Awwwwwwwwwwwww!
Kim comes up to Sarah’s shoulder. Shorty!
Kim’s even got some tears going, she’s so proud of Sarah. Awwww!

Tomorrow night the reveals continue, hooray!
Greg rages in the boxing ring and Michelle looks on in bemusement.
And a “World Record Breaking” challenge starts at a pool with a moving rotating ladder thingy in place of the starting blocks? Weirrrrrrrrrrrrrrd.
