TBL 6×26: Fridge-y Temptation Ahoy!

Previously on The Biggest Loser… Emma got eliminated, awwww!
There was a bit of drama involved with Jodie accusing Lara of lying to her. Lara had allegedly promised to have the Black girls’ back, then voted for Jodie at the elimination.

Tonight! Poor Meg’s going to be left on her own.
Then Temptation sees Immunity on offer yet again. Sounds like ice cream sundaes will be the Temptation. Glad I’ve already had some of my own!

Also Black Team will be forced back to basics. Steve’s obviously had enough of his pampered princess team and makes them dump all their luxury items out of their rooms.

Out in the lounge room Black’s not expecting to see Jodie again. Meg’s talking about how close her and her sister have been on this JOURNEY!

First the voting teams file in. Then Jodie comes in. Black’s shocked and Meg’s in tears right away.
Meg tells us she’s afraid she’ll go back into her shell again now.

Nate says that it came down to percentages and so Emma went home.
Meg says she’s down to one now. But Sharlene tells her that they’ll be looking out for her, she’s part of the Westren family now. Aww!

And then the promise drama comes up. Lara says they’d had a massive fight over it… and Jodie couldn’t let it go.
Jodie asks Lara about it again in the lounge room. Lara said to Rebecca that she had her back and Jodie was there too, what was she supposed to do?
Lara’s learned her lesson now. You don’t have conversations like that.

Or at least not with the bitchy Blacks, right Lara?

Now it’s time for Temptation already!

The contestants file into a stage-smoke filled room with fridges arrayed behind Hayley.
Hayley says that dodging elimination might not be so easy this week because there’ll be not one elimination but two!

Elimination as usual after the weigh-in, but also a surprise elimination.

Meg’s very worried because she’s got nobody to watch her back.
Hayley says the surprise elimination will come with no warning at all.

In the fridges are foods ranging from 50 calories to 1,000 calories. And in one freezer is an Immunity voucher.
In order to open the freezer you first have to eat whatever’s in the fridge.

They’ve all got Pass/Play paddles to hold up and if nobody plays? Then Nathaniel’s going to keep Immunity.

Sure to be a popular option, am I right?

The entire Black Team decides to pass, as do the Westrens.
Meg, of course, has to risk it and decides to play. As does Nathaniel?

Damien’s not sure why Nate is choosing to take part. I think everyone else on the planet knows it’s because you and that cockhead Joe will throw him under the bus if he doesn’t have Immunity.

Meg gets to choose a fridge first and she seems less than impressed by whatever is in there.
We have to wait until after an ad break to find out what she’s got!

After the ads… Meg has the 1,000 calorie banana split sundae. Damien laughs in delight. Because he’s a dick.

Meg gets stuck in. Damien tells her to smile as she goes. She’s not halfway when he asks how long to go. Then he laughs at her some more.

Meg finally finishes up the dessert. She tells us she hasn’t eaten that stuff in so long and it tasted disgusting, especially the cherries.

Meg opens up her freezer and… nothing in there. :-(

Guess she’ll be doing a bunch of hard work right after Temptation.

Nathaniel’s turn next. He opens up his fridge and gets an ice cream cone, 242 calories. Meg’s jealous!

Nathaniel tucks in. Most of the Black girls are making “Mmmmm” noises. Kellie even says she was envious as Cornettos were one of her favourites.
Nate finally finishes up and gets to check his freezer.

Nope! No immunity for you!

Meg’s then thinking she needs to keep playing since otherwise she’s eaten 1,000 calories for nothing. Erm, no, Hayley said if nobody PLAYS Nate keeps immunity. Someone’s played. Let him keep going if he wants!

Nathaniel gets to go first second time around. And gets a raspberry yoghurt worth 71 calories – something the contestants are actually allowed to eat as a snack, it seems!

Nate then checks his second freezer. AD BREAK!

Still no immunity!

Meg’s turn. She opens the door and it’s a 750 calorie black forest cake. Nathaniel looks horrified for her. Damien looks delighted, again.
Leigh doesn’t know how she’ll finish it.

Meg’s having second thoughts about participating in Temptation now. She can feel Emma’s hand slapping her upside the head.

While Meg’s getting stuck in Sarah flashes a nasty smile at Rebecca.
Westrens and Nathaniel are looking on with grim faces.

Meg is struggling through it, in tears, only because of the double elimination coming up and the potential for safety out of that freezer.

Meg finally polishes off her cake and heads over to her freezer.

IMMUNITY!!!

Meg breaks into even more tears and Sharlene squeals for her and runs over to give her a hug. Tells her she’s going to get a flogging but at least she’s safe now.

Meg is now safe for BOTH eliminations this week.
Meg says the gamble was well worth it. Two people are going home this week and she’s just guaranteed she won’t be one of them.

Then it’s time for the Trainers to turn up.
Tiff’s last in. She’s in tears when she sees that only Meg is left.

Tiff asks Red why they thought Emma was the biggest threat. Damien trundles out the bullshit about Emma having more weight to lose, Moons have been under the Line the most number of times.
Tiff tells us that it’s like Red’s never seen the show before. Leaving the whole Black team intact? At this point of the game? Bad move.

Nathaniel then explains the Temptation.
Meg explains what she ate and Tiff says it’s great that she has Immunity. But she should have faith in her own ability to lose the weight.

Steve’s gobsmacked that his team is still intact. He thinks the other teams mustn’t see them as much of a threat. So it’s time to get back to basics and kick things into gear!

But now it’s time to train. Or time for yet another ad break…

Shannan’s got a surprise for his team. But it’s nothing too exciting, just a trip to the Honour Board to see Lara’s name up on there after winning the title last week.
Leigh says he’s noticed a big difference in Lara, Lara doesn’t take crap from anyone, not even Leigh!

Shannan asks Lara if she’s got nothing to hide anymore and Lara says no. Shirt off then!
It’s okay, she has her workout gear underneath.

Shannan gets her in front of the full length mirror and Lara’s very surprised by how much weight she’s lost and how much skinnier she looks.

Then Shannan gets the A3 print of original-Lara and Lara is appalled. She says that she can see how unhappy she was, it’s in the eyes.
Lara tells Shannan it’s worth every bit of pain she’s been through.

Meanwhile, Commando Steve’s got his girls a box each and tells them to bring it into their room.

Everything that they own, pictures, makeup, perfumes, clothes other than their workout gear, into the box or the bag inside the box.
Steve gives them two minutes to get it done.
Everything that doesn’t pertain to training is GONE!
The only thing Steve will let them keep is a brush.

Curling irons, blowdryers, fancy bedside lights and fans, skin moisturisers, cushy beds and rugs and so on. All right out the door.

Steve says that five out of six weigh-ins they’ve been below the Yellow Line. He’s not getting upset or angry about it.

Kellie says that from her and Jodie’s perspective they had a competitive Mum, coming second wasn’t good enough and so coming last every week is killing them.

Steve says that it’s back to basics. Training.
He tells them it’s not an arse kicking, it’s what he does best – BASICS.

Prepare for the princesses to fail yet again on Sunday. Poor Steve!

Time for Red to train. Nate and Joe get to jump on the bikes and Damien’s getting some one on one training.
Mish says that when Damien started he could barely walk. Stairs were a huge drama, they’d take him forever. Looking back on how he was scares him. His fitness and flexibility is a lot better now.

Michelle times him up and down the main stairs at Camp.
Then she tells him she’s going to jump on his back and he can do it all again, at close to his original weight.

Camera dude stays down the bottom… giving us a very nice view of Michelle’s!

Mish says Damien’s weight has robbed him of having a happy and fun life, and robbed his family of that too.
Michelle asks him the last time he gave his kids a piggy back ride like he just gave Michelle. Damien says he’s never done it. Maybe once at a picnic a long time ago, on his shoulders.

Mish tells him he can do anything he wants to do, he’s a fighter now.

Then Michelle tells him to do the stairs again to try and beat his first time. 13 seconds for the re-run, 20 seconds I think it was for the first time.

Steve’s got his team doing back to basics stuff today. Getting the girls to “locomote themselves”. That is to say, running around the paradeground, running up and down the stairs, flipping a tire end over end. You know, basic stuff we do every day.

Then he takes Kellie off for some one on one time after she’d expressed some of her problems earlier. Steve says that not having dealt with her issues is part of what’s holding her back.
Kellie gets prompted by Steve about her Mum wanting her to be the best. Get it off her chest so she can focus on her training.
Kellie tells Steve that, like any kid, you want your parents to be proud of you. She needs to hear encouragement, when she hears negative things that’s… not so good.

Apparently her Mum started to point out when she was gaining weight. Telling her to look at the size of her legs and her bum and instead of pushing her to lose weight it pushed her in the opposite direction.
Steve tells her she knows her Mum loves her but at the end of the day she’s got to do what she loves. When she does that she’ll feel fantastic. And then she’ll be the best person she can be.

Steve gets her to finish off with some sledgehammering on one of the tractor tires.

Kellie feels like 10kg has come off her shoulders after pouring her heart out to Steve.

After another ad break it’s Nathaniel’s birthday! Awwww!
He’s 19 and instead of a cake he’s got a lowfat jelly with some fruit sprinkled over it. Actually looks really nice!

Then Black are bunking down for the night. They’ve got some foam mats and sleeping bags to curl up in.
They’re talking about what they think they’re going to get out of it and sore backs and headaches seem popular.
Jodie tells us she doesn’t think her family deserves it. 5 out of 6 times below the Yellow Line says otherwise!

And now it’s time for Family Weigh-In. And this time the Trainers are there too so everyone is on their guard.

But it’s about 8.30pm so there can’t be a lot of weighing in going on tonight.

And if they want to win at the Family Weigh-In everyone needs to be pulling their weight and now it’s time to see if they have.

The TV comes on and there’s some black curtains and Greg walks out from behind them followed by Emma and then everyone realises the curtains are the curtains behind them – THE ELIMINATED CONTESTANTS ARE BACK!

Sort of. Tomorrow night we find out how long they’re staying.
And The Contest involves sawing a whole bunch of logs? Erm, ‘kay…
