TBL 6×25: Moooooooooooooons Be Doooooooooooooooomed!
Previously on The Biggest Loser the Loser Legends were assisting in the weekly Challenge.
The Challenors had already won on Friday, thanks mainly to the efforts of Legend Sam. The Westrens had squeaked into second place and the Moons and Duncans were battling it out hoping not to come in last!
Tonight we find out if my very early guess of The Moons being the losers is correct.
Then the Legends are on their way out the door, but not before some parting gifts. Candy?
Later the weigh-in gets very dramatic with at least two of the Moons walking out of the room in a huff. Fun times ahead, kids!
Hayley reminds us all that whichever team comes last will receive a 1kg penalty at the next weigh-in.
Meg’s got what she thinks is the last buckets, Jodie must be close to the end as well as Sarah keeps telling her not to spill a drop!
And Jodie’s bobbly thing is just below the lip of the gauge after she puts her buckets in so Duncans are still in with a chance as Adro and Meg take a lead up the hill.
Adro grabs the key out of the gauge and passes it to Meg who releases their flag.
Jodie continues despondently emptying her bucket into the barrel and they finally finish as well.
Hey, look at that, I was right! Moons in last place yet again. Can’t be doing much for morale, that.
Challenors now have a 1kg weight advantage going into the weigh-in which they’ll probably need to save themselves again this week.
Moons have a 1kg weight penalty, which probably means they’ll be below the Yellow Line again, too!
Commando’s disappointed his team has a penalty again. But with Lisa being there all week they must’ve got some extra motivation.
Lisa says all week they’ve been saying it’s unachievable and so she’s got something to show them – a picture of herself at the start of the competition to compare to her current body.
Time to say bye to Lisa. Awwww! Lisa tells Jodie she can be a Mum, but she needs to live for herself first.
Sam’s saying goodbye to the Red team as well. Nate’s been really thrilled to have Sam around for the past week. He thinks he’s learned a lot.
Sam says that on his way out the door, he’ll be the last red shirt leaving, okay?
Joe thinks he and Sam will have a good friendship after the show?! Okayyyy!
Tiff’s so sad to see Adro go. She says she loves having more people in her ninja group and Adro’s been a great inspiration to her girls this week.
Meg’s bawling, constantly, saying that Adro’s helped her a lot this week. Awww!
Bob says he’s really enjoyed his time with the Westrens.
Sharlene says Bob’s 60 and she’s 50 so if he can do it, she can do it!
Then the Legends all pile in their cars and head off. Awwww. Always next year, I suppose!
Time for weigh-in. Lara thinks everyone’s fired up due to the Legends being there so this weigh-in should be very interesting!
And don’t forget Nathaniel has Immunity this week, thanks to Sam. So no matter what happens, he’s safe!
Challenors will also be weighing in first with Damien the first of the family.
Damien Previous: 187.9kg
Damien Current: 182.3kg
Damien Loss: 5.6kg
Not bad, not bad at all. That brings his total so far to 52.1kg, Hayley says.
Damien says everything has changed now. He’s able to do so much more for himself now he’s feeling stronger.
Joe Previous: 112.9kg
Joe Current: 109kg
Joe Loss: 3.9kg
Nathaniel Previous: 112.8kg
Nathaniel Current: 108.2kg
Nathaniel Loss: 4.6kg
Challenor Total: 14.1kg – 15.1kg after advantage
Challenor Percentage: 3.65%
Nate’s overtaken Joe, woohoo!
Obviously didn’t waterload either, despite the immunity. Good for him!
Westrens turn now.
Sharlene Previous: 95.2kg
Sharlene Current: 89.2kg
Sharlene Loss: 6kg
That’s a MASSIVE loss for her. Sharlene screams and even Shannan’s super excited. Almost shed a tear, even. Shannan fakes wiping one away.
Leigh Previous: 102.9kg
Leigh Current: 96.3kg
Leigh Loss: 6.6kg
Very good result from Leigh again!
Lara Previous: 83.8kg
Lara Current: 78.2kg
Lara Loss: 5.6kg
Westren Total: 18.2kg
Westren Percentage: 6.46%
Smashed it!
Lara says she’s not been in the 70s since early highschool. She’s feeling youthful now, she says.
Next up, Moons. DUN DUN DUNNNNNNNNNNNNN!
To beat the Challenors and be safe from Elimination they’ll need at least 15.3kg. That’s… probably not doable for the Moons.
Sarah Previous: 128.3kg
Sarah Current: 123.4kg
Sarah Loss: 4.9kg
Kellie doesn’t look remotely impressed though Sarah seems quite happy.
Jodie Previous: 87.2kg
Jodie Current: 84.1kg
Jodie Loss: 3.1kg
She squeals in glee at that.
Then Hayley decides to stir the pot. Stirrer!
“Would you say after this week the Moon family is more focused?” Jodie says she wouldn’t say that. She’s felt more focused herself than any other week.
So who isn’t focused?
Jodie doesn’t like to name names…
Steve does! Steve says they should just get it out now. If there’s issues, he wants to hear it now.
Jodie says Sarah’s still got a long way to go. She did well on the scales but emotionally she’s not got it in her head yet.
Sarah says if she’s consistently losing 5kg a week then she must be working bloody hard. “Excuse me for a minute because that’s just pissed me right off!”
Sarah heads out the door, followed by Steve.
Jodie eventually gets off the scales and starts crying as she goes down the catwalk bit. As she nears the end she says to someone off to the side that she knew this was going to happen. Not entirely clear if she’s talking to one of the crewpeople off to the side or to one of the other families. White and Blue were on the side she looked to.
Oh well, time for an ad break, naturally!
And after the ad break, replayed footage. Hooray!
Kellie doesn’t seem surprised by Sarah’s behaviour though she looks a little uncomfortable.
Rebecca’s just fine though, it seems!
Steve says that it’s been brewing for a while. Jodie trains very hard and Sarah sleeps in, yet Sarah’s pulled the bigger number. So it’s finally come to a head.
Jodie’s sobbing to Kellie that Sarah never puts in the effort. Apparently Sarah stayed in bed every night this week.
Sarah’s sobbing to Steve about how she was happy on the scales to have lost weight and she has put the effort in, etc. She doesn’t need people belittling her anymore.
Jodie says she knows Sarah’s had a hard life but she’s still using it as an excuse and she has to stop playing the victim.
Steve gets a hug from Sarah and a thankyou. Steve says not to ever think he’s against her, etc.
Jodie’s not bitchy, she tells Kellie, and Kellie says she needs to stay for herself, not throw away her own chance, etc.
Black finally files back into the Weigh-In Room. Hayley asks Steve if everything is alright and Steve says not really, but they’ve got a job to do here and they’ll deal with the rest later.
Alright then. Time to get back to the weigh-in!
Rebecca’s turn! She says it was hard to walk up after all the accusations that just got thrown around.
Rebecca Previous: 96.3kg
Rebecca Current: 93.2kg
Rebecca Loss: 3.1kg
Same as Jodie.
Combined loss so far 11.1kg.
Kellie will need at least 4.2kg to keep them safe.
Kellie Previous: 106.2kg
Kellie Current: 103.8kg
Kellie Loss: 2.4kg
Moon Total: 13.5kg – 12.5kg after penalty.
Moon Percentage: 2.99%
Woeful. Kellie’s in tears on the scales. Rebecca and Jodie look a little upset. Sarah doesn’t seem to care at all. Oh, no, now she’s crying. Probably because she’s realised the family will punt her lazy arse out this time?
Duncan’s last of all.
Emma says they need 7.7kg between them to stay above the Line.
Emma Previous: 102.4kg
Emma Current: 99kg
Emma Loss: 3.4kg
Not bad and she’s under the 100kg mark. Emma says it feels really good. 99kg is fantastic!
Leaves 4.3kg for Meg.
Meg Previous: 107kg
Meg Current: 103.8kg
Meg Loss: 3.2kg
Duncan Total: 6.6kg
Duncan Percentage: 3.15%
So they’ve fallen below the Line again. Meg and Emma are both in tears. Tiff looks shellshocked.
Emma goes up onto the scales to hug Meg. Awwww!
Every time White’s been below the Line it’s been one of them who’s gone home.
SURELY the other teams will send a Black home? Ugh.
And who’s the week’s Biggest Loser? LARA! She’s the smallest contestant and yet the Biggest Loser. Well done!
Hayley says that because there’s so much to resolve both Moons and Duncans will have an hour to decide who should face elimination.
Early prediction is Emma for Duncans since she’s under 100kg now.
But who knows for Moons!
Sarah says the atmosphere is icy, going back to the rooms.
Jodie says they’ve got an agreement with Red, not an alliance. So that’s three votes. Westrens also have three votes but they can’t rely on them. But Rebecca and Jodie got a verbal agreement from Lara last night. She said she has their backs, Whites are the biggest competition and they want them out first.
So that might be four votes.
But if it’s a 3-each tie, the lowest percentage will go home. So since Jodie has the highest percentage so either Emma or Meg would go home as a result.
So Jodie’s going to go up? Silly.
Sarah tells us that she felt a bit guilty because she thought it should be her up there.
Jodie asks for their agreement that it should be her. And she tells Sarah that if she needs to get anything else out in the future she needs to go up to the gym to work it off!
Emma and Meg sit down for a chat. Emma says she’s got a better home style at the moment. Gym nearby and family around her. Meg’s got a farm with no gym. She has everything she needs there. “I don’t have you!” Awwwww, poor Meg. Come on, don’t be heartless, send a Black home! Jodie’s been up a bajillion times!
That seems to be what White are pinning their hopes on. Given that they’ve been below the Line enough times to lose two people already, are they really the threat everyone says? Methinks not. But will anyone realise it?
After another ad break the Challenors and Westrens are sitting in the Elimination Room.
And then Jodie and Emma file in to the room to face them.
Lara’s hiding it well but she’s obviously crushed by having to choose between them. As is Sharlene.
Emma sits down and is already in tears. Awww!
Emma says it’s not her time to go yet. She’s lost a lot of weight but mentally she’s not ready yet. And possibly being torn away from her twin is heartbreaking. Emma doesn’t want to leave Meg there on her own.
Jodie’s not happy about facing Elimination again. And she wants to tell the Westrens and Challenors that this is their chance to get rid of the Biggest Loser. Emma could be the Biggest Loser?! You’ve got to be fucking kidding me, bitch.
Emma’s not sitting still for it, either. She’s 6 foot tall and can’t lose half her body weight, she says.
Leigh’s a little annoyed, he says that either of them could go on to be the Biggest Loser and so it’s a 50-50 split on which is the bigger threat.
Jodie says if she goes back home she has to go back to work, full time wife and Mum, she’s worried she won’t shift the rest the weight.
Meanwhile Jodie’s at 84kg and Emma’s still at 99kg. Take some responsibility, Jodie. Stop trying to throw Emma under the bus!
Emma says she’s suffered from depression, etc. Mentally she still needs to be there. She’s still in tears. Jodie’s still stonyfaced. Sigh.
Emma’s so going home even though it’s the wrong decision, isn’t she?
Leigh’s first to vote. His vote is purely strategic. Not really a threat to him but a threat to Lara and his Mum.
He’s voted for Jodie as a result.
Damien is also voting strategically. The person he’s voted for is ahead of him on percentages.
Emma!
Sharlene’s vote is also strategic. They’re a family that’s still here and could be really strong.
So she’s also voted for Jodie.
Nathaniel’s next. He’s voted… Strategically! He needs to be there and someone who loses more weight than him will eventually put him below the Line.
So he’s also voted for Emma.
Emma’s stifling tears again. Jodie’s still stonefaced.
Lara says it’s about safety in numbers in the game at this point. This family might not be the biggest threat at the moment, they might be in the end and they want it to be a level playing field and at the moment it’s not.
So Lara has voted for Jodie.
And then Jodie says she’s shocked because Lara made her and Rebecca a promise. And Lara says she didn’t make a promise and Jodie says that she must have misunderstood her saying she has their back.
Lara accepts it. Obviously doesn’t want to get into a shitfight.
Joe’s voted strategically, too. Shocking, I know.
But first, an ad break!
Joe has the deciding vote. Whoever he votes for will be eliminated tonight. Either via Jodie having four votes or both having three and Emma losing on weightloss percentage.
And Joe’s also voted for Emma. Oh for the love of…
Joe apologises to Emma and Emma nods.
Emma says it’s very sad, not just for herself but also for Meg. Other people in the house have three or four family members. And now Meg’s got nothing. She tries her hardest but she knows she doesn’t always fit in but having Emma around has kept them going.
Sharlene and Emma have formed a lovely relationship. Sharlene says Emma and Meg have been like daughters to her. But she knows that Emma will go home and get Jarrod by the ears and make him work harder and so everyone in the house will have to watch themselves.
And now it’s time to say your goodbyes. Awwww, poor Emma.
Lots of hugging going around though.
Then we see pictures of her from the start and compared to what she looks like now it’s extraordinary! Huge progress.
She says she feels proud of herself, even though she didn’t stay all the way to the end. She’s come to the end of her time on Biggest Loser, but it’s not the end of her life!
Wednesday night… Oh, Meg. :-(
Then Temptation! Ice cream, omnomnom!
And Commando Steve’s had enough. He orders his girls to pack up all their unnecessary shit and get back to basics. Bed bases only, no makeup, etc. Rebecca tells us that she doesn’t think The Commando understands what makeup means to a girl.
YOU’RE AT FUCKING FAT CAMP, YOU TWAT!
