Points of interest:

• Tiffany is the favourite ex-contestant of many people in Season 6. Tiffany was in Season 4 but if she’s kept the weight off this probably guarantees she’ll visit some time during the competition!
• Damien Challenor will be the new heaviest contestant ever, unseating previous title holder… Damien from Season 2. I think.
• Damien Challenor’s children are named Judson, Tanayah and Keelin. Hopefully that will be the only time I need to write those “names”.
• Lara Westren is not yet a Westren – she is Leigh‘s girlfriend, not his wife. Brave to go on this show as a non-legally-bound couple!
• Lara personally knows ex-contestant Teresa.
• Craig Westren has “pot-stirrer” in his bio. Tends to be Loser-speak for “asshole”.
• Both Jarrod and Sarah-Jayne Duncan claim never to have watched the show. If that’s true their reactions should be priceless!
• Emma and Meg Duncan are twins, dude!
• Joe Challenor used to be an “elite cyclist”.
• Token Homosexual: Sarah Moon. She may not be the only one in the house but only her bio makes reference to a same sex partner.
• No token Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander/Maori/non-white-ethnicities this year. Expect complaints about the lack of negative role models from other ethnic groups… or something.

Winner: Joe Challenor. (If he survives every elimination)

Dark Horse: Jarrod Duncan. (He’s tall, young and will need good numbers to compensate for the three women in his team.)

Sexiest Finale Transformation: Meg Duncan. (They’ll get the tomboy in a dress and everyone will be stunned.)

Cutest Finale Transformation: Lara Westren in a dead heat with Emma Duncan. (Lara gets bonus cute points for having her partner on the show to be adorable with.)

Scariest Finale Transformation: Nathaniel. (He’s tall, young and will be driven to keep up with his three uncles. A recipe for undereating and overwork if ever there was one.)

First Post-Temptation Trainer Explosion: Commando Steve or Tiffiny Hall. (Not that the “new guys” can’t handle it, just Steve has 4 girls and Tiffiny has 3 girls including the slothful Sarah-Jayne.)

First Elimination: Sarah-Jayne Duncan (The Duncans will probably be the first to run into trouble and the blame is likely to fall on her shoulders.)
