Haircuts, shaved bits, coloured bits, pretty makeup, pretty clothes. Pretties all round!

Michelle and Shannan jog up to Camp Biggest Loser. Michelle has something in her hands but I can’t tell what it is…

Shannan’s taking the girls for training first up today.
He’s set up 80kg on a weightlifting bar for Lisa which he says she’d’ve never thought of being capable of.
Lisa’s worried she’ll hurt herself trying to lift it but on the second attempt she manages to lift it and hold it for a while. She only weighs 81kg herself!

Phoebe’s always been very focused, Shannan says, but they’ve never really understood how she put on the weight in the first place.
Phoebe says it was like a rebellious thing. Not rebelling with drugs or alcohol or cigarettes. Her parents would come to her and tell her she needed to lose weight, she’d punish her parents by going off and eating more anyway. Which makes her the idiot, she says.

Shannan wants her to try for her best ever run on the treadmill. Shannan pushes it up to 19km/hr. She was aiming for 30 seconds, but only managed 26 seconds.
Shannan asks her afterwards if she can do it and Phoebe says yes. Shannan says no, scream I can do it! Phoebe raises her voice a little. Shannan says louder, etc.
And on the second attempt she manages the full 30 seconds!

Afterwards she holds out her hand for Shannan to shake her hand and Shannan’s all, “What’s that crap?!” And goes in for a hug. Awwww!
Then she gets a hug from Lisa, too.

The contestants haven’t dressed in anything but black of late and they’ve all been focused on their training and losing weight and so on. They’ve not stopped to take a look in the mirror.
Shannan says to them all that they must look better in something other than black! Lisa asks if they’re changing colours?
Michelle slowly pulls a pair of scissors out the back of her waistband and clips the air a bit. Shannan says, “TOTAL. BODY. MAKEOVER.”

It’ll start tomorrow at Joh Bailey’s salon. Best day ever, Michelle says!

Everyone’s got a grin on their face as they head to Joh Bailey’s place. Phoebe and Lisa are grinning and giggling at each other. A lot.
Joh’s also got the Lancome people back to do the makeup again this year.

Rick has no freaking idea who Joh is or where he is. Good lad!
They’re thinking of getting rid of his huge mop of hair. Rick’s never had anyone wash his hair for him before or anything, he’s only gone to a barber occasionally!

David’s not really got a lot of hair anyway but it looks like they’re trimming it down and touching up the colour a little, get rid of the greys.

Lisa’s going to get a softer/shaggier look. Or so Joh says. Lisa’s worried she’ll look like a shaggy dog, or mutton dressed as lamb!
She’s not been to a hairdresser in quite a while.
Lisa tells us she hasn’t felt beautiful for 17 years. Ouch!

Shannon wants a new look, be a new person. He says he’s probably got a half a kilo of hair on his face alone!
He’s getting really nervous about it all. They’ve got black curtains across the mirrors so they can’t see the progress. So he’s worried he won’t like what he sees.

Joh heads to Phoebe to check her situation out. He pulls her hair out of the bun she’s always got it done up in for training and whatnot and… Wow, she has really lovely long hair. Colour’s a little less than inspiring but she looks quite good with it just being down instead of up!

Lisa’s watching Phoebe get the tint put into her hair so she can tell what colour Phoebe will be when they’re done but Phoebe has no idea. But she’s excited!

Michelle and Shannan are all dolled up for the day, too. Makes a nice change from seeing them in their training gear all the time!

Shannan says Shannon’s been hiding away behind his beard, he thought it was hiding his extra chins, but the beard has got to go!
Shannan pulls out a pair of clippers with a grin on his face.
After Shannan’s done we can’t see Shannon’s face so they’re obviously saving that reveal for a bit later…

Michelle boggles at Rick. She says (to us) he looks like a model!
Michelle says he looks like a 20 year old again. A hot 20 year old. And when we see him in the mirror, he does look his age instead of in his 30’s as he used to.

Shannan sits with Phoebe who is freaking out a little.
And quite rightly so because they’ve given her that hideous straight cut thing they gave to Kimberlie.
But on the up side her hair is BRIGHT RED. Phoebe says her haircut makes her look very, “Rawr.” :-D
The colour does, the cut is terrible though. I don’t know why they keep torturing people with that fugly style. It’s like they don’t want people’s business!

David is told he looks 15 years younger by Michelle. And he’s stunned by his reflection in the mirror. “No George Clooney but it’s not bad” David says.

Meanwhile, Lisa’s turn. Shannan is really thrilled on seeing her. Tells Joh it’s some of his best work.
Phoebe’s obviously trying to keep her feelings on it under wraps while waiting on the reveal.

And then we finally see it and it’s a short ‘do, very blonde, fringe falling over her face. It’s very… different!
Lisa says the first thing she sees on looking in the mirror is actually her sister, who she’s always thought was so beautiful. So she must be doing okay.

Shannon’s turn now. This is fixing to be awesome!
He’s got the shakes, Shannan says. The boys watch on as we go to ad break!

During this ad break we get an ad for the makeover episode of Biggest Loser that we’re watching right now. Well done, Ch10.

Shannon’s face is finally revealed and… WOW. The difference is simply stunning. He used to look like some hobo, now he looks like the chubby young lad that he really is.
He’s in tears almost immediately as everyone remarks on how great he looks.

And now they’re all prettified it’s time to go get some pretty clothes to go with their pretty hair.

Lisa looks really nice in a dress, the lads are in jeans and stripey tops and jackets, Phoebe’s got a sparkly dress on. Looking good so far.

Now it’s time for them to do the catwalk!

Shannon’s got a nice suit on with a scarf tossed around his neck. He struts down the catwalk with confidence, much to the delight of Shannan and Michelle.
Shannan tells him it’s 400m from the dressing room to there. Can he remember the first time they walked 400m? He collapsed.
Now he can walk 400m without being out of breath, not breaking a sweat, spring in his step.
He gets a chance to have a look at himself on a big screen. Should really be a mirror, the screen is a lot bigger than he really is. Bit mean.

Then Shannan says there’s probably someone else who needs to see this transformation.
He can see a shadow emerging from out of the light and he knows the shape of his fiance. And he’s in shock, he doesn’t know what to do!

Tomorrow night, the makeovers continue!
And there’s a Temptation, too. Which a lot of people will be very tempted to take part in, Phoebe says.
Chocolate fountain makes a return, too!
