TBL Australia 4×68: Mum versus Sister… kinda!

Previously on The Biggest Loser, Sharif and Stewart got back into the game and Sammy and Julie are facing elimination.

Tonight, who’ll be sent home? Everyone’s Mum or everyone’s little sister?

Tough choice for once!

Everyone congratulates Sharif on his big number when they get back into the lounge room.
And one of the girls will be going and Julie says that that was not the plan!

Everyone wants Sammy’s Double bracelet. So she’s definitely in trouble.

Sharif has a chat with Stewart, saying that the alliance is equally weakened either way, so what they should be doing is voting out who’s the biggest threat to them staying in the game. Sharif is mostly talking about getting further into the game… Stewart’s all about the Double bracelet and getting that back into play.
Um, yeah. She’d give it to Sharif ahead of you, Stewart. And Tiffany or Julie are both a million times more likely than Sharif.
Cam would of course be her first choice but since he already has the Nothing bracelet, giving the Double to him, if she even could, would be sort of pointless!

Tiffany’s chatting with Julie, saying she feels so close to Julie. Julie says yes, but you also feel close to Sammy.
Sammy’s still a big threat, still got a lot of weight to lose, and she’s got the Double bracelet. Julie says Tiff is right in line for getting the bracelet because Sammy won’t give it to Sharif or Stewart and she can’t give it to her Dad. And Tiff is also right up the top of the leaderboard!
Julie says Tiff also needs to remember that Sam and Cam effectively have a double vote if they both stay in the game. Tiffany’s not sure whether to vote with her head and send Sammy home or vote with her heart and keep Sammy in the game.

After an ad break everyone heads downstairs to meet Ajay in the elimination room. Ajay looks pleased to see them. Stewart looks pleased to be sending someone home. Everyone else looks grim!

Ajay says Julie arrived with low expectations. She had low expectations of her abilities, her marriage and for her own future. She’s learned she’s capable of anything. Apparently. Ajay obviously wasn’t at Emazon training session!
Sammy’s time there has seen a wonderful transformation. She once worried what people thought of her, now she only cares about what she actually is – a young, beautiful, 20 year old woman who never shies away from a challenge.

Ajay reminds them all that if it’s a hung vote, the person with the lowest percentage will be sent home. This week, that’s Julie.

Julie is confident she can continue her journey on the outside, if it’s her. She came on the show to regain her life, family and husband. And she’s done that! So she’s happy.

Sammy says to Ajay that the Double bracelet could influence the votes tonight. But if it does, so be it.

Sharif says that Sammy is like a little sister you never had. Someone who always finds a way to make a situation lighter, to relieve the pressure they’re all under.
Julie’s been the house mother without being the house mother. She can give you a perspective that’s different to your own which helps clear your own thinking.

Tiffany says this is the worst situation possible. Two of her close friends under the line together. Julie’s been like a Mum and Sammy’s been a “best friend, ever!” They’ve made her journey so much easier and she’s sad that they’ve come so far and one of them is going home.

Time to cut the fat!

Cam has to vote first. Fairly obvious who he’ll be voting for though.
Cam says it’s a hard decision. Everyone thinks it’ll be an easy decision for him but for the last 11 weeks there’s been four special girls in his journey. He lost Meaghan last week, Tiff’s next to him and he’s going to lose one of the other two today. They’ve made his journey fantastic. He really doesn’t want to do it, but…
He’s voted for Julie!
Cam’s in tears. :(

Tiffany can barely start talking. “How can I choose between a Mum and a sister? Two best friends. Two people that I desperately want both to stay in the competition.”
She’s sorry to have to do this… but it’s okay, it’s not her fault the producers are going to an ad break right now. Don’t cry, Tiff!

After the ad break she repeats what she said before the ad break…
She’s sorry to have to do this, but a mother would understand… she’s voted for Julie.
Julie says a mother does understand and it’s fine, not to beat herself up.

Julie’s obviously very upset too though. Ajay’s looking a little distraught herself!
Sammy’s in tears too and gives her a big cuddle and backrub.

Ajay says sadly, Julie’s been eliminated. How does she feel? Julie says she’s saddened, but proud. She never thought it’d be possible. Biggest Loser has changed her life, totally. Had she not been on the show she’d probably still be on the couch, probably 5kg heavier by now.

Sammy says it’s horrible that Julie’s leaving. But she’s also kind of glad that there’s only one week to go. They all love her to bits, she’s amazing and strong. She’s still 52, still a grandmother, but she’s a hot 52 year old grandmother!
Sammy tells her her marriage will be amazing, her life will be brilliant and her family will be so happy because she’s happy.

Since Bob left, Julie’s been a rock for Tiffany. She needed Julie’s advice, help and support. She can’t imagine what her journey would have been like without Julie there.
Tiff sees Julie as a role model and wants to be as brave as Julie, as strong as Julie. She’s got a long life to lead and it’s going to be better because of the things she’s learnt from Julie.

Julie wants to wish them all good luck and enjoy your last week. Make the most of it, you all deserve it. It’s been a wonderful experience and while she may have been support for them, they all supported her too, she couldn’t’ve done it without them.

Ajay says it’s been an honour to witness Julie’s journey. But now it’s time to say goodbye and leave Biggest Loser for good!

Julie asks Sammy to do her a big favour and Sammy says yeah? Julie gives her a kiss on each cheek saying to give each one to Shannan and Michelle and to tell them she couldn’t’ve done it without them. Awww!
Julie also says to Sammy that she wants to see her in the final three!

Tiffany asks Julie if she understands why she had to do it and Julie says of course and don’t beat herself up about it!
Also, say hi to Meaghan for Tiff!

Cam says thankyou, then something unintelligible, then thanks her for everything she’s done for him and his daughter. And seeya in a week!

Ajay says they’re heading into the last week of life at Fat Camp. But if you thought it’d be a stroll to the finish line, you’re dead wrong. More surprises to come!

Julie arrives home to a huge party. Including Meaghan, who is looking stunning! And her daughter Gabby who bursts into tears. Awww!

2 months on… Julie still runs like a bit of a spaz. She’s seeing her trainer 6 mornings a week and loving it.
Family get togethers are still the same but now Julie can participate.
Meaghan’s looking even more pretty at the 2 months on bit, too!

Then we see her audition tape and… wow. Huge difference. She actually looks a little older due to more wrinkles, but she looks like she’s a FIT older lady, which improves her overall appearance.
And her happiness is spreading through the rest of the family.

Since appearing on the show Julie has lost 40.5kg!

Tomorrow night… IT’S TRAIN THE TRAINERS NIGHT! Oh yeah, it’s on!

Also they’re going to have a look at their audition tapes and, hopefully, fit into their dream outfits!

And for the rest of the week, challenges and mud and emotional challenges galore… before Bob and Nathan return to the game. Oooooh!
