TBL Australia 4×56: First Singles Elimination

Previously on The Biggest Loser, Tiffany won immunity! In a challenge, no less!
Back on Gilligan’s Island, Bob lost a whopping 9kg.
And at Fat Camp, Sean and Andrew are below the Yellow Line.

Tonight, the alliance has a tough choice. Both Sean and Andrew are strong competitors so it’ll be a struggle choosing between them.

Sean and Andrew are disappointed to be facing elimination. Meaghan tells us the alliance were happy!
Julie’s knocked all the young girls down a peg this week too, losing more weight by percentage than them.

Andrew’s hoping the alliance stays true to what they’d said to him, namely they’d keep him safe if he ever came up against Sean in the eliminations.

Julie tells us she loves both boys and will miss either of them.
Sean’s glad he doesn’t have to vote, makes it easier!

Sammy sums up for the alliance, after Sean and Andrew are out of the room. Both are close to goal weight, Andrew can still lose more. But Sean is also really fit, really strong. In challenges, if it involves running, they’d have no chance of beating him.
Sammy tells us that as Sean’s never been a part of any alliance with her, he may be a bit easier a pick.

Cam tells the alliance that Sean worked really hard all week, while Andrew slacked off a bit. They both still lost around the same weight though, so if Andrew picks up his game he’ll lose more again.

And then Meaghan’s promise to keep Andrew safe emerges. She’ll be voting for Sean though she thinks Andrew’s probably the smarter choice.
She’s had to play the game a lot lately and she’d like to be nice for once!
She had a hand in voting Nathan out and sent Sharif home all by herself.

But the alliance won’t be putting any pressure on her to vote one way or the other because she’s borne the brunt lately, having to pick Sharif and so on.

Meaghan and Julie have a chat between themselves afterwards. Meaghan wants to work out if what she’s doing is stupid!
Meaghan says her and her Mum and Nathan and Andrew got along from Day One and it hurt to send Nathan home and it’ll hurt more to send Andrew home. Julie’s struggling with the decision, too.

Everyone heads downstairs for elimination. Oddly, the girls and Cameron are the best dressed. Sean and Nathan are looking quite casual!

Andrew’s thinking there’s a good chance he’ll be going home. If friendships and alliances don’t stand, he should probably be the one sent home. He’s got more weight to lose than Sean – if he was on the other side of the table, he’d vote for himself too!

Sean says he’s looking forward to going home, if it’s his time. He’s sure he can do it on the outside now though.
He also thinks he’s going home too though.

Tiffany has to vote first. She sees the boys as the competition’s biggest threats. So it’s hard to pick one. So it came down to who can stay above the Yellow Line.
She’s voted for Andrew.

Sammy says both boys are very similar to each other. Any immunity challenges, the rest of the contestants would stand little chance against either Sean or Andrew. So her vote is strategic, to try and keep herself there longer.
She’s voted for Andrew, too.

That’s two for Andrew. One more will be enough to send him home.

Meaghan’s turn to vote next. She made a pro and con list for both boys. And they’re exactly the same. They’re both good friends of her’s, they’re both threats, both close to their goal weights, either of them would beat her at challenges.
But it came down to the promise she made to Andrew.
She’s voted for Sean.

Julie’s next. If she votes for Sean too it’ll be a tied vote and Cam will have the deciding vote. If she’s voted for Andrew, he’ll be going home.

Julie says her decision has been made on a personal level, because the boys are so evenly matched.
When Sean was eliminated, he passed his Biggest Loser Reward on to Julie, letting her spend the day with her family.
But Andrew’s been a tower of strength. He’s got her through two sessions with the Commando, been a shoulder for her to cry on a couple of times and she always makes him laugh.
So it was a very hard decision. But she’s keeping the person who’s made the greatest impact on her journey so far.

And after an ad break she reveals she has voted for… Andrew!
Awwwww. :-(

Sean looks very relieved. Andrew seems accepting of his fate and congratulates Sean on getting to stay for another week.

Andrew’s first words to Ajay are, “It’s been a fun ride!”
He says it’s been great spending the time with the fine people at the table. He’s happy to be going home to his family and he’s looking forward to sharing the stories of the “fine people” with his family.
He says it’ll stay with him forever. He came there to change his life and he did so with these people and he thanks them for the support they’ve given.
He also tells Ajay that he’s not surprised, he’d’ve voted for himself. But he is glad Meaghan kept her word – it shows how honourable a woman she is.

Meaghan says she’s going to miss Andrew lots. If she can’t find Sammy, she goes to Andrew for a laugh and to keep her mind occupied.
Julie never thought her two favourite boys would be up for elimination at the same time.
Julie says she’ll miss Andrew being there to say the right words of encouragement and give her cuddles. Awww!

Ajay asks Julie how she thinks he’ll look at the finale. Julie says he looks pretty hot now!
“Easy!” – Andrew

Meaghan says the girls are going to put up a good fight to get an all-girl final.
Why does everyone keep forgetting about Bob and Nathan? Ajay just said Cameron and Sean are the only boys left, too.
And Meaghan says Cam and Sean are at risk if they go below the Yellow Line, yes!

Andrew’s journey has taught him to love. He can love himself, which lets everyone love him more and lets him love them more. He’s very grateful for that.

Ajay tells him he’s lost 38.6kg. By percentage, that’s 26.77%.
Ajay then helpfully informs him that it’s more than a quarter of his bodyweight. Thanks, Ajay!

Lots of big hugs and cuddles and backslaps and so on during the goodbye bit.
Most of the comments are a bit mumbled, except for Tiffany’s who says she agrees – he looks gorgeous!

The contestants are on the home stretch, Ajay says. But the finish will be anything but straight. Their routine is about to get thrown out the window. The true test of how far they’ve come is right around the corner.
Get some rest, you’re going to need it!

Andrew arrives home in a big van taxi. He’s regular human sized now, not sure why he got a big van!

Big party out the back of his house. And his missus gives him a big kiss and cuddle.
2 months on… HOLY CRAP. Dude is fucking BUFF. Seriously, the muscles on him. Incredible.

Audition footage. You can tell it’s him but… geez. “I mean it’s no wonder I had a stroke, have a look at me!”
Andrew and his family can go to the beach now and kick a ball around and run around and whatnot.
Since appearing on the show he’s lost 45.6kg. I suspect he won’t have lost much more by finale, simply due to muscles!

And this week… they’re going to New Zealand! Wooohooo! Hobbitses!
Face your fears time. And they’re having another Super Challenge… and one contestant’s journey will come to a shocking end. Cue quick clip of Cam totally stacking it on his bike!
