TBL Australia 4×44: Red Faces elimination again. Hey, I made a Hey-Hey joke!

Previously on The Biggest Loser, Blue kicked Red booty at the weigh-in for the second week in a row!

Tonight, Nathan’s going to deliver “an elimination bombshell!” He’s going to offer to go home instead of them voting Cam out.
But Meaghan might have a trick up her sleeves…

The mood’s not great heading back into the lounge room. Bob came first, yet again! But Red’s losses weren’t great and now they’ve got to face elimination again.

It’s a choice between Cameron and Nathan, apparently. Sammy tells us that while Nathan is a threat and is very strong, her Dad Cameron is seen as the weak link in the team and since Sharif has immunity…

Sam takes Cam off for a chat. Sam tells us that her and Meaghan will keep Cam in the game, but only if he wants to stay there. Sam asks Cam if he’d continue on the outside and Cam says definitely. Sam doesn’t look convinced!

Then Nathan wanders in to say he’s putting a one time offer on the table. Cam inspires him to know he can do it on the outside. Seeing Cam stand up there today? “You’re not ready to go home, mate.”
Sam is gobsmacked. She says so!

Nathan says there’s no “but” coming, he just wants them to know that they can send him home and there won’t be any hard feelings. Nathan says to us that he doesn’t want it to look like he’s getting knifed in the back so he can go out gracefully.
Obviously learnt from the very petulant eliminations of Amanda!

Meaghan and Sharif are having a chat, along the lines of Nathan being their strongest link and if they eliminate him then they’ll lose practically everything from then on.
Meaghan’s always said she’d get rid of Nathan if she got the chance because he plays the game too hard. So she’s stuck. She needs to keep Nathan for the team but needs to keep Cameron for her alliance.

Nathan comes in to tell Meaghan and Sharif about the offer he made to Sam and Cam.
“Cameron touched me today in ways that I didn’t ever think I would be.” EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW.
Nathan says he knows he can continue on the outside while Cameron definitely can’t.

Meaghan tells us she’s now becoming tempted to leave it a hung vote in order to let the Blues decide.

Elimination room time. Everyone’s dressed up quite nicely. Sammy has jeans on! Half-length jeans, but jeans nonetheless!
Meaghan also has a nice shiny pair of pants on. But damn those are some big ass silver earrings.

Cam is asked if he thinks it should be him going home tonight. Cam says he’s lost the least amount of weight, least percentage, so it’d be fair to send him home. But he thinks he’s learnt enough to do it on the outside. He’s been in so much pain losing the 32kg, he’s never putting them back on because he hated taking them off!

Sam hasn’t really thought about leaving because, while it’s a fact she could go home, she mostly just doesn’t want her Dad to go home.

Nathan’s been a big threat since the start and not safe with immunity, Ajay says.
Nathan says he still needs to be there though, as does everybody. If he is still there after elimination? Fantastic!
He’s not really thought about going home because it hasn’t happened.

Meaghan is asked if there’s any alliances in play that could affect the vote tonight (cue dramatic music!) and Meaghan says of course, no point lying about it! (Cue rattling hissy sound)

Cam has few options. Can’t vote for himself so he’s voted for Nathan. Nathan seems okay with this.

Nathan says it’s a hard vote, you don’t want to send someone home, but that’s the game. So his vote is for Cameron.

Sam’s vote now. She didn’t think eliminations could get any worse.
Not many options, everyone wants to be there, everyone worked hard. But it came down to something she won’t do (ie; won’t vote out her own Dad and won’t vote out Meaghan) so she’s voted for Nathan as well.

Two people left to vote. If Sharif has voted for Nathan, he’s going home.

Sharif says you can vote with your head or heart and with the current state of the game, you’ve got to vote with your head. So he’s voted for Cameron.

Two all! If Meaghan has voted for either of them, they will go home. But if she’s voted for Sammy, the power of elimination will go to Blue!

Meaghan says there was only two options for her – she won’t vote for Sam and she can’t vote for Sharif, so it’s down to Cam and Nathan.
And she’s voted for… an ad break!

After the break Meaghan says it’s been drummed into their heads to keep the team as strong as possible. So that means keeping Nathan there. But when it came time to write a name down, she couldn’t bring herself to vote Cameron out. So she’s voted for Nathan.

Nathan says he’s not happy about being voted out but it’s part of the game and he took a gamble on his team losing enough weight this week to not face elimination again.
Is the Red team weaker without him in it? “Any team would be weaker without me in it!”

Nathan says the hard bit will be leaving Andrew behind. Their journey is paused. And Andrew will need to watch his back.
Nathan says when he came to the show, life had gotten him to a place he didn’t want to be. He’d spent 14 years helping others and neglecting himself. And with that he ended up with a mental illness, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. His anxiety was high, couldn’t control himself or his feelings. Hadn’t slept soundly for 8 months. Took two weeks to get rid of that!
“The Biggest Loser saved my life.”

Meaghan says if she voted out Cameron then it’d just be her and Sam on Red which wouldn’t be a big enough alliance to control the vote.

Sharif says it wasn’t the right vote, from his and Nathan’s perspective. Definitely the right one from Meaghan, Cam and Sam’s perspective.
And he shudders to think what Michelle’s going to say during training this week! Because she’s definitely going to think they made the wrong decision.

Nathan’s lost nearly 36kg since arriving. Very nice!

However, your team has spoken and they have decided you are not The Biggest Loser.

… “But, before you leave, I have something for you.” Ajay reaches under the desk and retrieves a letter. Ooooh!
The contents of the envelope will blow the game wide open, apparently.

But they’re for your eyes only! So the rest of Red? Needs to get the hell out!
No chance to say goodbye to Nathan even. Awww!

But what does the note inside the envelope say? Ajay tells him it’s time to read it.
Nathan’s hands are shaking just a tad as he pulls the slip of paper out.

“You’ve just been eliminated. And, for the first time ever, you must choose someone to leave with you. You have until tomorrow morning to make your decision.”

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHH!!! Nasty, nasty producers!

Ajay confirms he can pick anyone at all, Red or Blue, immune or not.
Then, once his choice is made, they have to gather out the front of Fat Camp on the parade ground to announce who’ll be leaving with him.

It’s all down to Nathan’s choice. No elimination, no voting, no weigh-in.

Now it’s time to go tell the other’s of the decision he has to make. Hoo boy, that’s going to be a fun conversation!

Cue montage of footage and talky bits about the pending decision tomorrow night.
But who’s journey will he end?

And right at the end of the preview montage?

WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU’RE GOIN’?!” Fuck yeah! It’s the Commando!
