TBL Australia 4×39: An all new concept for The Warehouse and the Emazon returns to bore us all to death…

Previously, on The Biggest Loser… Amanda got sent home again! Ha!

And she left with a stunning lack of grace. Again!

And now Michelle’s not happy – so Cam better step up!

Also, Emazyawn returns to put the contestants through stuff they do with Shannan and Michelle every day. Woooooo…

Tiffany’s glad it’s not Blue in the elimination room!
Cameron’s last to wander back into the lounge afterwards. Julie’s glad to see Meaghan, naturally!

Sammy says there was no strategy behind her vote, she just didn’t have a strong bond with Amanda. Cam voted her out because he and Sam sent Amanda home before so Amanda would likely try and send them home!

Bob says that she did have a big week this week… but then she’s also had one of the worst weeks ever, too.

Cam says the bond between the rest of the team and Amanda wasn’t as strong because she’d been home – Sean said those couple of weeks she was gone had probably cost her her spot in the game.
Nathan says it’s inevitable and they’ll have to do it a bunch more times yet.

Michelle’s clearly crushed at Amanda being gone. She immediately notices Amanda is missing. She’d be hard to miss!
Michelle tells Cam she didn’t expect to see him today. So the time has come for him. The team has put their faith in him and he can either remain the man he was or he becomes the new man he wants to be. “Either yes, or no.” “Yes, Michelle, definitely.”

The Red Team is so much more than just those sitting before her. It’s the people who’ve come before – Adro, the first winner. Munnalita, who was in tears after getting a 2kg penalty for the weigh-in and was sure she’d be going home. But she didn’t give up, she picked herself up, dusted off and trained like a demon that week. And at the end of the week she’d dropped 9kg!
Cosi stood on the front lawn of the White House with more than 100kg on his back and he stood there till he was the last man standing. It’s about mental toughness and digging deep. People have been there before and pulled through.

Michelle has made special t-shirts for them all. They all say “WE ARE RED” on the front with what RED stands for – “Respect, Endurance, Discipline”. Michelle’s got one too.

Only one last question, really – “ARE YOU READY TO TRAIN?!”

Shannan’s team are heading off to a nice area with a beautiful view of the sea in the distance… and some Capoeira dancers in the foreground!
Capoeira was developed in Brazil during an occupation by a foreign power. They weren’t allowed to practice their martial art at the time so they created Capoeira which mixes some fighting skills but makes them look like stylish dance moves.
Apparently it’s a great workout, Shannan says, and it’s something the Blue Team would have walked past previously. Gone and got an ice cream then come back and watched and clapped. But now they don’t have to do that!

“Heart rate, flexibility, strength, endurance, focus and it’s fun!” Shannan’s obviously a fan!

Julie’s trying to flail her leg over Bob’s head while Bob bends side to side. They’re doing pretty well for two old dudes!

At one point Andrew checks his heart rate and it’s sitting on 171 while Sean is on 172. Andrew says he usually struggles to get that high in the gym! And he wasn’t feeling anywhere near as exhausted.
Tiffany is similarly enthusiastic, saying it was a lot of fun and she’d love to have more time to learn some more moves!

Shannan asks them all afterwards if they’d’ve had a go in the past and they said no, no way! Shannan tells them life is full of experiences so throw yourself in!

Michelle’s got a special training regimen for her team, too. They’re in the big gym.
It’s two gymnasts doing some flippy things and cool poses and such.
Michelle’s loving it.

At one point the girl gymnast is being held up by the man gymnast and Meaghan says that’s her and Nathan, later. OH REALLY?!

Michelle wants her team to experience the type of training gymnasts do because it’s mentally tough and physically gut-wrenching!
Michelle describes the workout the trainer has cooked up as “hell”.

But then gymnast guy starts talking and he has one of those kinda poncy voices that makes it hard to take him seriously…

Lots of rolling sideways across the floor, toe touching, bridges.
Michelle’s keeping a boot up Cam’s butt throughout the session to make sure he keeps putting in the effort.

Michelle boggles at Cameron not even complaining once!
She tries to help him up afterwards but he nearly pulls her down on top of him. They give it another shot and succeed, hooray!

Meaghan’s carrying a laptop out into the lounge to do her food diary and stumbles across a letter that everyone else missed. Tsk tsk!

Sam figures it could be something good, something bad, or something BAD!

Head out to the parade ground to discover your fate. It’s Tuesday, must be Warehouse?

Ajay’s standing out in the middle of the parade ground. It’s amazing how she always knows exactly where to be…

No food in the House again! Fridges and cupboards are empty once more. So it’s time for The Warehouse. Right?
No, it’s time for more gibbering about how it’s all nervous-making and a recap of them cycling for their supper last week.

The options this time aren’t in a crate. The first option is to dine in. The second is to dine out.
No further details are available!

Ordinarily The Biggest Loser of the weigh-in would get to pick the food items. However as Amanda got eliminated, it goes to the second Biggest Loser. This week, that’s Sean.

Ajay advises him to choose wisely as there could be serious consequences to the choice.
And Ajay then reveals she didn’t just forget to say what the options were, they’re not getting any further information. So it’s a completely blind pick!

They’re all completely clueless and Nathan says to us that all they can control is what they do with the option they’re given and they just have to make the best of it.

Sean’s decided, Blue will be taking the Dine In option. Red will be dining out.
Meaghan’s hoping they’ve picked poorly.

Blue Team’s menu arrives… (ad break)… in a delivery van.
Uh-oh!

Teresa’s hopeful for an Italian chef inside.
But no. It’s a big blue esky with frozen meals inside.
Including BUBBLE & SQUEAKS! GIVE NOW! GIIIIIIIIIIVE. God I love those things. *cough*
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be coming out of the frozen meal boxes. They’re going to have no control over their diet because most of it is pre-cooked and ready to eat.

Red’s turn to leave. And Ajay suggests they buckle up! I guess the driver’s a woman?

Blue bring their frozen goodies inside.
They’ve got some kind of wraps, some dim sims. They’re making a “good” pile and a “bad” pile out of all their food. They’re a little concerned about being able to eat anything.

Andrew, unfortunately, has an allergy to fish. So he might only be able to eat the Bubble & Squeak of everything in there. I guess they’re somewhat healthy? So I can excuse myself EATING MORE OF THEM? Awesome.

Julie says, around the dinner table, that breakfast will probably be the easiest since they can have carbs in the morning and will have the time to burn it off. Plus by eating at home they’ll get extra training time.

Andrew figures Red is probably dining out at a lovely restaurant, being treated like Kings.

Then we see Red pulling up. It doesn’t look very food-a-licious.
And when they get inside the building, it’s a boxing gym. With an old TV in the middle of the boxing ring. It flicks on and white noise starts up. Then it’s Emazon’s trashy intro again.
Sammy looks a little concerned, the rest don’t seem too fussed.
Then they see Holly and Mel’s workout with Emazon and more of them are starting to look a little concerned!

Think Sharif might be feeling bad about giving that “Pain” disc to Holly and Mel now?
Eh, probably not.

Meaghan’s freaked out. She thought she’d stepped into a horror film.
Well, there’s certainly an ugly beastie creeping up behind them. Look out!

“So I see you got my dinner invitation.” – Emazon. Obviously the cheese course is first up.

And after the ad break, a recap of exactly what happened right before the ads. Including the recap footage of Holly and Mel!

You know, I reckon Nathan could take Emazon in a fight…

She says that apparently they’re used to working for their food, but today will be a bit different.
Then she gives them the spiel about not knowing anything about them. Um?

There’s four stations, 20 reps at each station and you need to get through them as fast as humanly possible because during that time one of them will be in the ring with Emazon. And they don’t get out till the exercises are done!
And if they succeed inside the ring they can choose one food group.

“You’re scared, aren’t you?” Sammy admits she is. Emazon she has two minutes to figure out what to do with the fear. No hints from Emazon, apparently. The handwraps will protect her wrists and what’s inside her will protect the rest of her.

Emazon says the one thing she wants to teach people is that they have the ability to protect themselves.
She’s checking out Cam’s hands and asks where his hands have been. Cam says in an office and driving trucks for years. Emazon asks if he’s confident in them and Cam says he’s never had a fight in his life.

“Now’s a good time to start!” – Emazon. I’m sure this is going to do wonders for children everywhere who’ll see the lady on the TV saying violence is acceptable.
I was going to say against women but I have my doubts about Emazon! ;-)

Emazon sees a switch go on inside Cameron that he never even knew was in there. After a really big punch he got into it.

Meaghan’s turn second. She says to us she’s never had a life to be proud of so if she can beat Emazon, it’ll give her a sense of accomplishment, something she can take with her.
Emazon says that slowly Meaghan was getting comfortable in the new space she’d never been in before. She learnt how to protect herself!
Meaghan says it was the best thing she’d ever done because she left the ring feeling like she could do anything.

Sam’s turn. Cam’s worried about her, she’s his little darling!

“Don’t let yourself be pushed around!” Emazon. While pushing Sam around.
The boys are calling out encouragement to Sammy while they continue their repetitions.
Sam’s really getting into it, putting in some huge punches.

Emazon asks Sam for a word and she says “Angry!” What about? Letting herself get like this and she’s going to fix it!
Sam is glad Emazon brought it out of her.

Sharif’s turn now. He wants to throw up, heart is pounding and sweating like mad. Of course he’s already done a bunch of outside work and now has to do the Emazon workout too.
He’s not doing so well, really. Pretty slow on the sprawls but he’s getting through it.
Emazon says there’s so much strength in him, but where’d it go? She wants to get it back out again.

4 out of 5!
“One round to go, peeps!” – Meaghan. Awww, she says peeps! :D

Nathan’s giving his usual gutsy effort inside the ring. Nathan says it’s had a profound effect on them all, especially him. He’s had the chance to unleash the fury inside him in a controlled environment, and he loved it!

Big surprise, they were successful at earning their five food types.

Then Emazon gives them the “You do not talk about Emazon’s Fight Club” spiel.

Afterwards they return to the house carrying boxes full of food.
Dining out? No, they had to go out and earn their food. They’re all looking much the worse for wear so Blue are all curious. Many probing questions. But all they’ll say is they earnt it!

Tomorrow night it’s time for Temptation once again. And this time it’s their all-time favourite foods!
And a “surprise of a different kind” in the form of “new houseguests”. But who are they?

Well, one of them is fairly obviously Alison’s toned and tanned arm, but the other two? Find out tomorrow night!
