TBL Australia 4×29: The Walk – Is It Really Worth Winning?
Previously on The Biggest Loser, Sharif and Teresa chose Raw Food over Straw Food and at Temptation Nathan and Andrew went crazy and drank a whole heap of milkshake, as did Holly and Mel!
Tonight, it’s time to pay for their indulgence. Michelle is on the warpath once more.
Also, time for The Walk again. Hoorayyyyyyyy…
Shannan’s really happy with Sharif and Teresa not taking part in immunity. He says they want to train hard, eat well and they won’t need immunity anyway!
Shannan asks if the milkshake was in a bucket, after hearing it was 3000 calories.
Shannan also says that it’s about 3 days worth of food for the girls. But Meaghan and Julie only went for 2000 calories.
Then he asks how the milkshake was sitting afterwards and the girls both admit it didn’t sit well.
He also tells them that if they’re going to go for immunity it’s got to be go hard or don’t bother!
Michelle goes to see her team. She asks if it was a bloodbath. She’d told them to only ever go for maximum result for minimum damage.
Holly says it wasn’t so much a bloodbath as a milkbath!
“Oh my god…” She tells us that it doesn’t sound good.
Sammy fesses up, quite proudly, that she didn’t have any.
Bob took a mere 250 calories. Tiffany says there was a reason, they didn’t want Sharif and Teresa having immunity!
But she can hear the numbers getting worse, and she’s getting angrier and angrier…
Cam said that he had 375 calories.
Holly and Mel wanted it so badly, and Ajay made it sound so good! Holly reveals her bit-over-thousand calorie intake.
Michelle’s even more stunned by Mel getting above 1600.
“She’s going to have a heart attack!” – Holly
Then Nathan says that Andrew didn’t need to drink at all because Nathan took in all 3000 calories. Michelle has no idea how he even fit it all in.
But Nathan tells her that he’s not proud of it at all, not even slightly. And he’s ready to pay!
Michelle thinks that’s the worst of it, but then Cam says, “I just wanted to have a taste!”
She’s very unimpressed. She says Temptation represents everything that had gone wrong with your life beforehand. If you go in with a strategy and plan on landing the immunity, she can live with that.
But when you just want a taste?
“It’s just calories.” – Cam
Michelle asks him how he got into this in the first place!
Nathan’s shaking his head, too. Andrew says to us that Michelle was clearly annoyed with Cameron, not because he drank milkshake, but because he did it for fun.
Michelle says Cam and Sam have a big food addiction. Sam’s only been doing it about 10 years, so Michelle’s getting through to her.
But Cam’s been at it 40+ years. And he’s proving a tough nut to crack!
Michelle enters the gym with a real dirty look on her face. But she’s over it. She just wants to get in the gym and make them pay!
Nathan’s sure Michelle will focus on him because he drank the lot! He seems quite ready to face his fate.
Sammy tells us for the first time in training, she was actually scared.
Michelle has Cam aside for a bit after a bit of the main training session. He’s having to redo the training everyone else was doing. And the last one he does doesn’t meet with Michelle’s satisfaction, so he has to do 10 more!
Michelle tells us that Cam’s attitude is that it’s someone else’s fault, and it’s got to change!
Meanwhile Nathan’s going hard. Michelle’s very impressed by his attitude, but tells him she’s still going to get crazy on his ass! And Nathan says he appreciates the crazy!
Nathan then has to hop back and forth over Michelle’s body. And if he clips her, he has to start again!
Nathan’s pelting out more calories at 22.2km/h on the treadmill and gives a big armflex and roar afterwards.
At the end of the training session Cam’s let off some steam so Michelle decides to take him aside for a chat afterwards to try and get him to address what happened earlier.
“Still upset?” “Mmmhmm.” “At me?” “No.” And on it goes.
Cam felt like Michelle wasn’t listening to him when he was saying he was thirsty. Michelle tells him on the outside he’d drink it and not take any responsibility for it. She tells us that he wouldn’t take responsibility for his behaviour, not even once!
Michelle tells Cam that he’s backing himself into a corner with everything he says… Cam replies that there’d better be a door in the corner because that’s where he’s going!
I’m sure that’ll solve everything, Cam!
Cam walks off while Michelle calls out to him that he must walk away from everything that gets a bit difficult.
But Michelle’s not having any of it. She goes after him for more chatting! She tells him he’s come so far, but then sometimes he slips back…
Cam reckons he’s lost 22kg, which is nothing. Michelle is gobsmacked.
Cam then tries to claim he’d’ve lost that on the outside… Michelle is gobsmacked some more! She asks why it took him this long, then? And he says it’s because his wife threatened him, with leaving him.
… so you had to go on the show because of that? Erm, ‘kay…
Cam says his wife still loves him but she just can’t put up with him anymore. And he can understand that.
Michelle asks if that’s the stuff that he won’t talk about with her, the stuff that makes the anger in him come out sometimes.
Then Cam tries to head off, in tears this time. Michelle tries to stop him but relents and says okay, but I’ll come too.
Michelle is getting visibly upset as well, she’s obviously finding it tough, too.
She asks him if he wants her, wants her to stay. Will he do anything to keep her. She’s put the ultimatum to him, but will he face up to it?
Michelle wants him to understand that he doesn’t need to lose the weight just to keep his wife, he needs to work out how he got in the situation he’s in. What’s been holding him back, etc.
Michelle tells him that everyone thinks it’s just about exercise and eating well and some of the others have realised that they got a ticket for a whole lot more, too. Michelle is sure there’s a man inside Cam screaming to get out and he comes back out sometimes but Cam keeps pushing him back down.
He needs to fight for himself, his wife and his life.
She asks him what happens if he walks out, having lost heaps of weight, gotten fit, gotten himself back on track. “We will blow her mind!”
Michelle wants him to know that the victim mentality isn’t going to wash with her. So they’re going to have to work on that…
Annnnnnnnnnd finally it’s time for The Walk!
Poor Andrew’s still hobbling along on his crutches.
Holly and Mel are especially worried since every previous Walk has ended up involving them in one way or another – bracelets, double votes, etc.
As the boys are walking there we get an overhead shot of 2 urns. But by the time they get to Ajay, it’s four! They’re breeeeeeding.
Hiii Ajay. Hiii simply black dress. Hiii not very well disguised box Ajay is standing on!
Rah rah rah, Ajay.
Apparently a new threat is breathing down their necks. IT’S A DRAGON! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES.
Oh, no, it’s Tania and Ramses. In white shirts. And looking as fat as ever.
Then Jodi and Jeda. Jeda’s looking alright, Jodi looks like she’s been backsliding.
Then Amanda and Stewart!
Then… the betas! Ben and Sean.
All the other couples are in white, as well. But none of them are Loser virgins…
Apparently the four couples have returned hungrier than ever for another chance at the comp. Tania just looks hungry. Keep an eye on the flowers in the urns.
There’s four vessels. A disk with each of the couple’s names on it is what’s inside.
Nathan and Andrew pick a disk each. Those two couples will then have the chance to return… but only one couple will be coming back into the game.
When Ajay “aksed” Andrew to step forward and pick a disk, Jodi was hoping her and Jeda’s name would be on it. Anyone but them, pleeeeeeeeeease.
Then it’s Nathan’s turn. Ramses would like his name to be on either one of the disks!
Andrew’s disk has… Ben and Sean on it! Him and Nathan are not hugely impressed by that…
Nathan’s disk says… Amanda and Stewart!
Tania and Ramses manage to look both happy for Amanda and Stewart and sad for themselves.
Jodi just looks sad for herself and Jeda. And she’s crushed!
Tania thinks it would have been “noice” to get a second chance to show everyone their full potential.
Ahhh, but there’s a twist.
But first, harhar Jodi and Jeda, harhar Tania and Ramses! See you losers at the finale, peace out!
Nathan tells them all “chin up!” on their way out.
Twist! Both couples are about to be divided. Ouch.
One person from each couple will be paired with their one time rival and be returned as “The Odd Couple”.
The toughest bit? The couples themselves have to decide which of them will stay and which will go back home.
Evil, pure evil.
Will Stewart man up and let his wife go back to Fat Camp?
Ben and Sean’s decision was hard, too. They both need and want to be there. Ben gets a bit emotional over it.
Who’s been chosen? Don’t know yet. Nathan and Andrew head back to the house alone. Nathan’s got two disks in his hands because Andrew can hardly carry any!
Nobody has any idea what’s going on. Sammy says everyone was all, oh my god, what are they doing, what does it say, are they faking, no they’re not faking, oh my god!
So much Sammy love. Such a doofus!
And now Nathan and Andrew recap what happened at The Walk.
Holly’s really excited when Tania and Ramses were spotted. Tania was her best friend, prior to being eliminated, apparently.
Then they explain that it won’t be both couples coming back, just one from each. And together they will form… VOLTRON!
Or the Odd Couple. I’m not sure which. It’s probably that second one.
Then Sharif smugly informs Nathan and Andrew that the power of The Walk was, again, no power at all!
If they knew that beforehand they’d not have taken it, genius.
Then Amanda and Sean walk in through the door!
Everyone’s really happy to see them. Amanda gives Julie a big hug and asks, “How are you, Mum?” Seems everyone calls Julie that!
Ram’s looking “ram-a-licious”, Nathan tells them. Amanda says that Stewart’s actually lighter now than when she met him!
Nathan says he’d probably lost at least a kilo with the new haircut!
Michelle’s training group are a bit annoyed, since Sean and Amanda are Shannan’s people. Bringing it back to 4-3 instead of 4-2. Much better!
Nathan tells us he’s already sent Sean home once, he’ll do it again. Amanda’s got a lot of weight to lose. He sent her home before, he’ll do it again!
Tomorrow night… the Losers must shift a ton of Safcol Tuna. Each couple, that is.
And Andrew still has a gimpy leg, meaning Nathan will need to shift a ton all by himself! I’m sure nothing bad could possibly happen, right?
Also, the prize for winning is $10,000. Cue mega-competitive-everyone!
