TBL Australia 4×20: Purple vs Yellow? Clearly purple is superior!
Previously on The Biggest Loser Nathan won the challenge and got himself and Andrew a 1kg advantage at the weigh-in. Which they didn’t need.
Bob crushed all before him once again, taking Biggest Loser honours for the third week running.
Tonight, it’s time for revenge! Maybe…
Holly and Mel are up for elimination against Amanda and Stewart. The “vote with my heart” crowd will be sending Holly and Mel home, the “what’s best for my future in the game” crowd will be sending Amanda and Stewart home.
Which side of the eternal conflict will win this time…?
Bob’s amazed that he’s won three weeks in a row. Cameron says he hopes the show doesn’t go too much longer or Bob will disappear!
Bob doesn’t think he’s put in more work than anyone else but you just have to keep on putting in the effort and hope for the best.
Mel says it’s hard being in the elimination with Amanda and Stewart. She’s down to 93kg and Amanda’s still up around 150kg. So she’s worried people will think Amanda and Stewart need it more.
Holly says to everyone that they’re the two youngest, they’re the lightest, so who’s going to want to keep them when Amanda and Stewart need it so badly. She’s not being negative, it’s just the way it is, she tells everyone.
Holly’s worried she’s disappointed Mel.
Sammy says everyone deserves it just as much as everyone else.
Stewart says next week will be better!
Amanda says to us that her and Stewart will keep it up for a few weeks and then old habits will resurface and she’ll struggle if they have to go home.
Holly and Mel are chatting with the brothers and Holly says such is life, someone always has to go each week! Nathan reminds them that he’d promised he’d be sending them home at the first opportunity, which has been playing on Holly and Mel’s minds.
Holly says that if they choose to send her and Mel home, it’s understandable. But they really don’t want to go home.
Mel’s hoping the team alliance will stay – both couples are on Michelle’s team.
Stewart and Amanda have a chat to Ben and Sean because they have a tough choice. Ben and Sean come from the same town as Amanda and Stewart and will be catching up on the outside, they say! And they’re teammates.
But also, Holly and Mel still need to stay to repair their relationship and lose more weight.
And everyone comes downstairs in their multicoloured shirts again this week. Still no fancy dress!
Amanda’s looking extremely glum, Stewart looks… kinda shifty.
If the votes are tied, which would be 3 apiece, the lowest percentage losers will be going home – Amanda and Stewart.
Holly and Mel are rebuilding their sisterly bond. Amanda and Stewart have stopped sabotaging each other with food. But while neither of them are finished with their transformations, one of them has to go home!
Amanda and Stewart aren’t going home, Stewart says. It’s their anniversary tonight! “Awwwwwwwwwwwww!” – Ajay
Stewart’s gunna cook her steamed chook n veggies. Awwww!
Amanda needs to stay longer, though she doesn’t feel any more special than anyone else there. But she needs to lose weight and fast. She’s not getting any younger and she may not have much time left. If she gets out this early she’s not sure she can keep it up. She doesn’t think she’s done enough.
Holly says her and Mel want to stay and they have goals of their own to achieve. Mel says it’s hard being up against Amanda and “Stew” who’re well-loved by all.
Teresa and Sharif are first to vote. Their decision is based on who has run with the opportunity the best, who’s making the most of it. So they’re voting out…
Holly and Mel: 1
Bob says that they’re all there as competitors. Everyone tries to stay above the line but someone always goes below it. Of the two couples below the line, one had a better result than the other. So they’re voting for…
Stewart and Amanda: 1
Julie and Meaghan came to the decision based on them needing to stay as long as they can… and somehow came up with voting for…
Holly and Mel: 2
… no idea what they were thinking there.
Ben and Sean are friends with both couples, but who needs to be there the most?
Holly and Mel: 3
Holly and Mel seem quite accepting of their fate at this point.
Cameron and Sammy are next to vote. If they have voted Holly and Mel, Holly and Mel will have 4 votes to take home with them.
Cameron says as a father he wants to be there as long as possible. Both couples are strong, one is much stronger and are much bigger threats and this may be his only opportunity to get them out…
Amanda and Stewart: 2
Amanda looks kiiiinda pissed at that. Should be interesting!
So it all turns on who Nathan and Andrew have voted for. If they’ve voted Holly and Mel, that makes 4 to send them home.
If they’ve voted Amanda and Stewart that will bring it to a 3-3 tie and Amanda and Stewart will be sent home!
Nathan’s sure that either couple would struggle at home, so it came down to what’s best for the boys. And what’s best for them is staying as long as they can!
So they’ve voted for the mysterious white glow. How fat is that glow, geez?
They’ve actually voted for Amanda and Stewart.
Amanda turns away but doesn’t immediately display much emotion. Even Holly and Mel look more upset than Amanda!
Stewart looks like he might be welling up a bit too.
After Ajay tells them their journey has come to an end, Amanda says, “It’s all about the game.”
And then, “So much for never voting for me Sammy.”
Sammy says it was the first day she met her, she didn’t know they’d be on different training teams. “Don’t you dare say that to me!”
Amanda still looks kinda pissed but she manages to keep from replying.
Amanda tells Ajay she’s fine, can’t control it. She was hoping it might have gone different but people are playing the game. She was hoping the others would realise she needs to be there (they do!), she says she’s not a threat or there for the money, she’s there to live. She starts to break down into tears and sobs.
Stewart says they’re not going to lose any friendships over it because the situation could easily have been reversed. Poor Nathan’s having to sit right next to Amanda during all this and he looks really uncomfortable.
Holly is trying to take it as a good thing because Amanda and Stewart will struggle.
Amanda isn’t going to give up she says. She needs to make herself proud. It’s not about losing weight for her though, it’s about becoming beautiful.
“You don’t have to become beautiful.” – Andrew, who is obviously the softie-brother!
Ajay says the contestants have decided they’re not the biggest loser. Cue more of Amanda crying!
Holly and Mel give them hugs first. Then they go around collecting hugs from everyone else. If hugging was an effective means of weightloss they’d have no trouble!
Ajay says this week’s elimination has seen another couple leave and the rest of you safe. But this time you’re not as safe as you think!
Elimination ain’t over, bitches!
They’ve got to go and vote again.
They have to vote on which couple they want to see eliminated from the competition.
There ain’t no Yellow Line here.
No couple is safe. No couple is immune – Ben and Sean’s is only good for one elimination.
“You are all vulnerable.”
They have one hour to decide and vote on which couple they would like to see eliminated. This could be their last chance to vote for who they want to see gone.
But be very careful who they vote for because once a vote is cast it cannot be uncast!
Amanda and Stewart arrive home again. Kids! Lots of kids!
Well, two girls. And then more people!
Not much of a party atmosphere though.
2 months on… they’re eating nice, healthy, fresh food. Amanda manages to run on the treadmill and Stewart’s a demon at boxing training!
Then we see the audition tapes and Amanda is horrified, and rightly so. She already looks vastly different, even just in the time between. Can only imagine how good they’ll look when next we see them!
Stewart’s lost 20kg and Amanda’s lost 22kg since appearing on the show. Not bad!
And tomorrow night a whole bunch of voting and chattering over voting and so on.
Also, a brand new force is about to be unleashed… It’s Emazon the mysterious new trainer. Prepare to be underwhelmed, kids…
