Biggest Loser Australia 3×34: Temptation? SPIN THAT WHEEL!

Tonight on The Biggest Loser, The Commando and JJ square off. Insults get flung around, fun!
And Temptation “spins out of control”, with a spinning table of DOOM playing some role or other.

Everyone arrives home with their food. The Cooked food groups bring in their unprepared meats.
Bryce takes a hacksaw to the huge side of beef… and promptly breaks the hacksaw! Oops!

Michelle and Shannan arrive, knowing their teams had been to the Warehouse. Michelle is hoping they got good food for once.
Michelle looks at all the raw, fresh food and says it’s a very good choice. She says we’ll see the great health effects of eating raw, natural, unprocessed, uncooked food.
She says all the different colours represent different kinds of antioxidants, they’re going to be running on good energy all week.
The main thing they’re worried about is getting enough protein from limited amounts of seafood.

Michelle watches Bryce hacksawing away at the beef and says it’s gross, though in an aside she says that she couldn’t imagine having the uncooked option.

Shannan wanders in and sees Bryce hacksawing… “It’s time to cut the fat!”
He says that at least they’ll have plenty of protein and iron. Shannan thinks they’ve got the better option. Put some lean meat on the barbie and stir fry some vegetables, perfect healthy option and quick!

Michelle thinks the uncooked food could be the edge they need to win!

Shannan is interested to see Blue preparing their food with Black. Carrianne says it’s natural they’d have to work together to prepare the meat and prepare everything.
Shannan says to the teams that there’s obviously a good rapport between Black and Blue.
Shannan has an aside where he’s concerned. He says that at no stage should the foods be taken away and prepared by someone else. To have a little bit of oil or salt added could ruin their chances of winning the weigh in. You can’t trust anyone in there!

Black head off to be trained by Steve. JJ’s actually turned up today.
“JJ, nice of you to join us today.” “Thankyou Commando.” “Something funny?” “No, Commando.” Heh.
JJ says he knew the Commando would cane him but he wouldn’t be backing down.

They start out dragging tires across the ground again. Steve wants to remind JJ that he’s part of the team. He wants JJ to prove he deserves to be there.
Steve wants to push JJ hard, prove who’s boss!
JJ keeps a good outlook on his punishment. Chirping back quite a bit.

“The rest of the team is going to suffer until you get it right!” “No worries!” “What do you mean, no worries?” “I’ll get it right!”

At one point Steve says JJ is putting it on. He’s got more to give, so give it!

Steve says to JJ that if he hears JJ has left the House again, he doesn’t care if it’s 1am he’ll be there and dragging him out by the scruff of his neck. “Do you understand?” “Yeah, I do.” “Mate, do not test me. Because I will do it.” “Yeah, I bet you will!”

Shannan gets his team to look back on how far they’ve come. He decides to put a backpack on each of them with the weight they’ve lost in it.
He wants them to understand how far they’ve come so far. He wants them to remember so they’ll never go back there again.

Alison says she can’t believe how much it affected every movement she made. She didn’t realise how big and heavy she was.
She tells Shannan that it’s hurting her knees.

Sam says your body struggles to do normal things.
Shannan says they’re rolling around like turtles.

After each part of the exercise, Shannan yanks out some weight. Sam says it’s a real relief when Shannan takes some weight out.

They get back to exercising and Sam comes down off a step and his backpack actually breaks from carrying so much weight. Sam says it was a big realisation, his body could’ve broke as it used to carry that weight around.

Alison says she sits there at times and wonders how she got to that weight.

They have a replay of some of the Day One training with the Blues struggling to even step up, now Blue is powering through it. Shannan says it’s like they’ve gone into fast forward.
Sam says he’s come a long way and to drop another one of those backpacks off would be fantastic.

Back to Black again and JJ says he has a point to prove to Black that he has a big heart and he’ll give it a go.

Steve says that while JJ was struggling, the others were being a little sympathetic, which helps them bond a little, brings them together a bit.

Steve asks JJ what he’s not going to do. JJ says he’s not going to jump the fence and go for a walk to clear his head. And he won’t let his teammates down. And he won’t let The Commando down or miss training session. Not going to let himself down!
Steve thinks JJ is an asset to Black, but only if he gets his head in the right place and wants to be a part of the Black Team.

“At this point in time, mate, you couldn’t fight your way out of a wet paperbag with a chainsaw! Start working a little harder!” – Steve
Bryce was thinking JJ was a poor bastard… but then he remembers JJ brought it on himself.
Steve wants to push him to the limit… and then a little further!

“Truckies terms are a bit like Army terms.” “Are they? You wouldn’t have a freaking clue about Army terms, mate!” “Nah, I wouldn’t, but you wouldn’t have a clue about truckie terms either.” “Mate, it wouldn’t take much to be a damn truckie.” “It wouldn’t take much to join the army, and got through that!” “Mate, have a look at yourself!” “You were the same once, we’re all born equal!” “Mate, really? We might be born equal.” “Ten fingers, ten toes and a brain.” “Well damn well use it!”
JJ has an aside to say Steve’s foaming at the mouth like an old Saint Bernard. But he wasn’t going to give in to him! You just don’t give in, it’s un-Australian!
Michelle thinks maybe one of them would throw a punch!

Steve asks JJ if he’s having fun. JJ says he’s not exactly enjoying himself, but he’s learning a great life lesson. What’s that? Discipline. “Good.” – Steve
JJ says he doesn’t want to quit, he doesn’t want to leave like Steven. The only reason he wants to stay is that it’s a great place to lose weight. If you can’t get fit and healthy in there, you probably can’t do it anywhere else.

Steve tells them all they’re wearing Black shirts. JJ joined the team late, but he expects them all to accept him, he doesn’t care what their differences are.
He wants them to know you can’t let your team down, you’ve got to be strong.
Bryce says JJ put in a good effort today, but he’s hoping the hardworking JJ stays around. Carrianne says JJ always promises such things but then he always breaks the promises. He’ll be gone if there’s an elimination!

They have a Black huddle to say that if JJ can do this every session, they’ll leave the shit out and get on with it. JJ shakes Bryce’s hands, gives Michelle and Carrianne a kiss and a hug.
JJ says he appreciates and respects the Black Team in training, but he has no idea if he can trust them, or if they trust him.

Temptation time at last! Ajay’s back in another peasant girl dress, very simple cream coloured thing. With weird buttons and folds on the front. Weird!

This will be Black’s first Temptation, other than JJ who has faced it once before. He says it’s like the forbidden fruit, except it comes fried!

Immunity is on offer this week. To get it, they have to play “Food Roulette”.
There’s a roulette wheel/table. It has 12 wedges. Some wedges have prizes like a phone call home or a 42″ high def telly. JJ wants the TV above all else!
5 of the 12 wedges have various food items.
Possibly the worst wedge is a 1kg penalty at the next weigh in. Kirsten remembers they lost by only 1.4kg, so that would make it very difficult.

And one wedge has immunity!

Whoever has immunity will also have to take The Walk. And whoever goes on The Walk will be faced with another “first” for The Biggest Loser. Alison thinks it might be an instant elimination or a team swap… even though they’ve happened before, der.
Sam thinks he’s vulnerable on Blue, Nicole on Red… And I think everyone knows JJ’s vulnerable on Black.
Nicole thinks she needs immunity, but it’s only a small chance to get it and there’s a 1kg penalty on the wheel, too.

Cosi and JJ both step forward to participate. Apparently Black had discussed what they would do if JJ stepped up for a Temptation and had said that one of them would also have to go in an attempt to outplay JJ.
Garry steps forward too, big surprise.
Then Bryce steps forward to take it for the rest of Black.

Michelle goes over how horrible JJ is again for us all. Because they’re totally giving him another chance, aren’t they! Hmmm.
Him having immunity would be worst case scenario, she says.

Cosi says that regardless of what Temptation it was, he’d’ve stepped forward. He wanted to have the power over The Walk.
Cosi steps forward first.
His spin lands on… a platter. 5 platters have food, 1 has immunity!
Cosi’s has… a really nice looking burger. “Aww yeahhhh! Better than the plasma!” 400 calories, Ajay says. It has salad and stuff on it so it’s probably not too bad. “It’s like kissing your missus!”
Cosi points out that The Warehouse dished out Uncooked Food… and now he’s eating a burger!

JJ gets a go next. All he’s thinking about is, “Plasma, plasma, plasma.”
JJ’s spin ticks around and around and around and it looks like it’ll land on 1kg but it juuuust ticks over onto a platter instead.
Michelle thinks if JJ wins immunity he’ll slacken off for the rest of the week so hopefully they’d lose and he could eliminate her!

JJ lifts the lid on his platter and… HAS IMMUNITY! BWAH!
Michelle was speechless, she says. JJ says the only bloke who’s ever tried to escape got immunity.
“I know I can be a bit of a scallywag, but deep down… I’ve got immunity!” Everyone cracks up.
Cosi’s really hoping Black go to Elimination now, he thinks it’ll be a real spectacle.

And now JJ has to go for The Walk tomorrow night. A Walk which has a massive twist, leaving one contestant facing “the ultimate decision”. JJ thanks Ajay and shakes her hand and gives her a kiss, which makes Ajay grin.

Tomorrow night, JJ faces The Walk. “Today could see your best friend become your worst enemy.”
He has a huge security style suitcase… filled with $50,000 cash. And someone’s life will change forever!
“Okay, what’s the catch?”
