Recap #25 – Sunday 4th March – Week 4 Weigh-in – Can it be as exciting as the last?

Well, it’s Sunday once again so it must be time for the weigh-in.

Which team will be facing elimination tomorrow night? Can it possibly be as close as last week? And will Ajay be allowed to crack one of her oh so rare smiles?

Read on to find out!

Shannan and Michelle arrive together again today.
Shannan walks into the lounge room and sees his four team members sitting around looking glum. They tell him they lost and explain what the challenge was. Shannan wants to know if they did their best and that’s the important bit!
Meanwhile Mel’s hiding out in the gym while Blue explains all depressed-like. As they near the end of the recounting, Mel sneaks out behind him and he starts asking what the penalty is.
“A 96.4kg penalty!” And Shannan is all, what? Who’s come back? What? What?
And Shannan says in his aside that he thought maybe P’eta had come back.
Mel meanwhile is sneakily sidling in and sitting down on the arm of the couch Shannan is on.

Shannan turns around, sees Mel perched on the end of the couch grinning like an idiot, so he jumps up and pretty much tackles her, giving her a huge hug and rolling around on the couch and stuff. Ooer!
They’re hoping that now their luck has turned, but Shannan still wants them to go in as underdogs because they always perform better that way, so not too much celebration, it’s time to get down to it!

Michelle is off catching up with Red and sees a team member missing. She’s sad to see Mel has gone back to Blue because she’d come to think of her as a Red now. She’s also a little irked because she’s put a week’s worth of training and nutrition into Mel and now that’s probably going to go help the Blue team!
The other Red’s explained the thought processes behind sending Mel, but Michelle is still looking kind of sad.
Her boobies were looking very happy, though. Lots of cleavage happening in her top today!
Michelle really hammers home that this is the last chance of last chances, they really have to win this weigh-in!

Blue’s last chance training is outside this week. Running and passing the ball first, drop the ball and do 20 pushups!
Then some crash tackling with mats, pushing them back and stuff.
Because there’s only 5, Shannan is paired up with Damien first. Damien holds one of the crash pads while Shannan pushes him backwards. Then Shannan grabs up the pad and has Damien charge at him. Big mistake! Shannan winds up getting flattened. Has a laugh about it though, not hurt or anything. He said he knew there was no malice in it, he was just going for it and that’s a good thing!

Jules and Mel are working out together and giggling while doing so. Shannan says they were working hard, so it’s fine, because they’re much happier, high spirits and so on.
Mel’s surprised at how strong Jules has become, saying she was barreling Mel over, which she wouldn’t’ve been able to do a couple of weeks ago.
Shannan is really happy with the way Jules has come out of her shell, saying she’s getting cheekier and cheekier!

Red’s doing their Last Chance in the gym. Michelle wants them to win the weigh-in by 3 or 4 KILOS. Ouch!
She wants to really push them in this training, push them to the limit of what they think they can do, then push them some more!
“What is it with her and getting down and getting up again?!” – Pati
“How to make people tired – make them get up and down a thousand times.” – Michelle
Then she demonstrates some bouncing exercise, which sets the rack to jiggling. I’m starting to like her a bit more now!

Marty’s training with Michelle one on one first and Michelle asks him how many more weight reps he can give her, “As many as you want!” “That’s the right answer!”
Greg’s up next and Michelle gets stuck into him, “You want to do a bit less weight than Marty?” “How much weight did you lose last week, 2.5kg?” And so on. Giving him a bit of stick. “I was putting a stick into him.” Uhh…
Now Michelle takes Courtney on for some boxing training. She’s quite happy with how he’s coming along, much stronger than he was, really punching the mitts hard.
Michelle notices that Munnalita is looking a bit flat. “I just didn’t feel like training at all.” – Munnalita. Do you ever feel like training?
“All we do is sleep, eat and train. And after a while it does start to get to you.”
Munnalita has immunity and Michelle wonders if maybe that has something to do with her lackluster effort.

Marty’s gotten rid of his keg, he’s down to a flagon, and he reckons the sixpack is just around the corner!
Courtney also has something to report – when he lies down, his ribs stick out! “They don’t?! Show me!” And Michelle proceeds to push him down on the ground and prod at his belly! Wasted on a gay guy!
Michelle is “super proud” of her team!

Weigh-in time!

Greg’s worried because this is the second week of the Blue team’s diet and maybe this week it’ll pay off?
Gerard’s worried because he knows that if they lose the weigh-in, he’ll be the one to go.
Munnalita’s muffintop is a bit less muffiny now and Mel’s starting to get a bit more shape to her… But otherwise they mostly look much as they have. Perhaps when the shirts come off the guys things will be a bit more obvious?

The ten remaining contestants have lost 137.1kg between them, which is almost enough to make one Marty!

Damien’s up first this week, which makes him happy because he can get it over and done with! He’s aiming for 5 kilos a week, which would get him to his goal by the end of the show.
Week 4: 187.1kg – LOSS 6.7kg
That puts him .8kg away from the 30kg milestone.
Mel talks him up a lot in the side interview, saying he’s very inspirational and how impressed they all are with how much work he puts in and how hard he goes for a man of his size.

Gerard is up next, hoping for a 6 or 7 kilo loss…
Week 4: 116.4kg – LOSS 4.2kg
Gerard’s still not hugely happy, but happier than his 1.5kg from last week!
He makes excuses about his age and metabolism again. The rest of the Blue team says in their side interviews that they were sad to see Gerard not be over the moon with his result, as he should be proud of it!

Combined total 10.9kg so far!

Laura’s up next. She says her mind kind of blanks out on the way to the scales.
Week 4: 101.2kg – LOSS 2.6kg
Not bad, she was hoping for a little more, but the guys said be happy with anything over 2 and she managed that.
She’s really happy with how much she’s achieved in the house, like with the minor challenge and the commando and so on, things she never would have managed before coming to the house.
Pati pipes up here saying she was worried with the numbers Blue is getting, thinking maybe the diet has finally started to pay dividends.

Jules is up next. Jules is worried she hasn’t done enough, but it’s a bit late now!
Week 4: 111.4kg – LOSS 3.7kg
Very impressive! Greg says that right there he thought Red had lost.
Jules’ little speech is about how much more confident she is. Her aside says she’s really happy with having friends in the house to help her along the way. She says Damien really wants to understand her and he’s always doing something every day that amazes her. Damien says her comment made him feel really good.
Jules says that her and Mel have really connected, despite the ten year age gap, and she loves her get up and go and her spirit.
Marty sings out from the other side of the room that it was a super effort by Jules.

Mel’s next.
Week 4: 94.7kg – LOSS 1.7kg
She said it’s a little bit less than she would have liked. Given that she’s the lightest contestant I’d say that’s fairly good!
She tells Ajay that she got into a size 12 dress yesterday, and Ajay cheers!

Blue’s combined weightloss is 18.9kg. A round 3% of their combined weight. Which would have been enough percent to win last week…
Red will need to lose 18.8kg to win. Must be the closest the numbers have been in a long time!

Munnalita is up first. She knows she’s dipped into the fridge and eaten things she shouldn’t’ve! Come on weight gain!
Week 4: 110.5kg – LOSS 3kg
And the whole of Australia gives a collective “WTF MATE?!”
She tells everyone about how she went straight to the fridge and got chocolate mousses after having to get rid of P’eta.
Pati thinks a lot more highly of Munnalita after she admitted her binge.
Courtney thinks she’s just a bit of a drama queen, asking why she’d admit it if she didn’t want attention from it?

Well, Courtney’s up next!
Week 4: 123.5kg – LOSS 3.4kg
He’s fairly happy with that because it’s about what he got last week. Marty looks a bit unimpressed.
Munnalita feels that maybe he’s still not giving 100%

12.4kg needed, with three people remaining!

“Awwww, jeepers!” Pati’s up next!
Week 4: 105.1kg – LOSS 3.8kg
Beating the fatter Courtney! She’s really happy and grinning and yay’ing and stuff.
Biggest female loser for the week!

8.6kg required with Marty and Greg remaining.

Marty’s on first.
Week 4: 136.8kg – LOSS 4.8kg
“YEAHHHHHHHHHH! Sweet!” Complete with black & white replay not 5 seconds later.
Munnalita is furious when Marty says that he was happy with everyone else’s weightloss, Munnalita did alright with 3kg, even though she has a bung leg too. She goes on to say that Marty’s the one going home if they lose, but she doesn’t know if Marty realises that yet…

Greg will need at least 3.8kg to win the weigh-in for his team.
Week 4: 126.6kg – LOSS 5.7kg
Red win yet again! “How good’s that, man?!” – Greg – “I don’t know where I pulled that out of!”

20.7kg total weightloss for Red, 3.32%.

Mel’s wondering how it is that Red wins every week, is it diet or not enough training or what. Pssst, it’s Gerard!
Gerard thinks it may be Laura to go instead of him though. He’s not sure.

Tomorrow on The Biggest Loser, a lot of very dejected looking Blues face elimination. Temptation this week looks to be a fast food vending cart, with hot chips, battered savs, potato scallops, burgers, etc. Including all time winner, “chips n gravy!”
And at some point during the week Munnalita and Michelle are going to get into a screaming match. Well, Munnalita’s going to scream and cry a lot and Michelle is going to try reasoning with her it seems. And Mr Voiceover man asks if it’s the end for Munnalita, as she walks out the door?
Only if there really is a god! Stay tuned!
